Yeah it's insane how bad the new Winbox is.

Also consider that the old version starts instantly, is 2MB in size and uses 30MB RAM, while the new version takes a few seconds to run, is 48MB in size and uses 255MB RAM.

It's 8-15x larger and much slower, for zero functionality improvement, just a horrible ugly new UI.

I agree with this anon. Using the terminal mode for Mikrotik is way easier and you can either remember or write down important commands rather than having to learn a GUI. GUIs are just annoying unless its for displaying graphs. Tempted to just switch to running OpenBSD or something.
