>>109189711The only logical argument you can make with US beating China in AGI race being necessary for global good is if you take the Anthropic argument and argue that US companies are more cautious with their releases. Mythos if it can do bioweapons and serious cybersecurity attacks was responsible to restrict, and being closed source allows you to take down dangerous models, unlike with China where they open source most of their models with zero restrictions and make it impossible to unrelease something that can steal government data just by asking it.
