What's the best way to cheat on an online test?

Is there any software like RustDesk or Teamviewer to remotely control a computer, but have no GUI on the remotely controlled unit? And I am not talking about KVM switches, it needs to be purely software.

ssh and command line program?

get a neuralink implant and ask elon musk to give you the answers

mostly these tests are in some kind of webbrowser with people looking at your screen.

My main issue is that you can see applications running

This, I made a 'reverse shell' that exploits a bug in my uni's exam firewall rules.

When they load the rules, they forgot to close open connections, so if you had a connection to an exam machine before an exam, connection stays open and you can talk to whoever is using that machine by writing to /tmp

maybe the snapchat glasses? you could cook up an app that feeds a screenshot of what you see to ChatGPT, and overlays the right answer or something.

what test? is it in person or at home? all these online tests have spyware out the ass from the browser level. you would need a second dedicated machine but good luck not getting caught diverting your eyes too much.

I have a real life experience related to this. Backstory to this is semi-relevant, I was gonna be left out of an inheritance unless I graduated, but I couldn't give a fuck about a degree I had no interest in. We're talking about a $790k trust fund (approximate conversion rate) so failing was not an option. I dropped out of that school and joined a new one, but before I did that, I pretended to have autism/asperger (autism spectrum disorder) which manifested when I was becoming an adult, I was 18 at the time. I went to see a doctor because I would get "overwhelmed" in situations like exams and I would have to think out loud and use headphones. I managed to con the doctor pretty well to the point where I was sent for further diagnosis and got a letter from the doctor and later for a psychotherapist stating that they are mapping out what is exactly wrong and they are under the assumption I have autism spectrum disorder. This allowed me to have noise cancelling headphones during exams and I could speak out loud, they had me in a separate classroom, which was more like a closet, which the school had for people on the spectrum. Afaik most larger universities have these regardless of country. I was being watched over CCTV and they examined items I would bring to the classroom, but they didn't take out my phone in case I needed help if I started to """spazz out""" due to overloading. So before the exam began I just opened chatgpt on my phone in voice mode, I thought out loud all the problems and I got the answer through the headphones. I did this for 13 exams to get through the semester, I never did a perfect score but good-ish passing grades. I got through that year and got the trust fund and after that I dropped out. Now I don't even know what to do with the money, but I certainly won't go back to university. As for the doctor's office they didn't even call back after I missed appointments and neither did the university either. I just quietly vanished.

Those are so obvious that they just won't let you in. Have to wait until smart glasses pass for normal ones at a glance.

It's just a 5 line user script to change the aforementioned two properties on every page. I even gave you their names ffs.
Figure it out.

you can do this with sunshine. normally it shows a notification when someone remotes into the PC and it has a tray icon. idk if it lets you disable these features, but it's open source so you can trivially comment out the notification code, and disable the tray icon (this may be slightly more involved, depending on how it integrates the tray icon, but should be easy if you know what you're doing)
that being said, I'm not sure I follow what you intend on doing. do you have regular access to the PCs the exams are performed on, and you can install software on there beforehand? and then what, is your buddy going to remotely control the PC and answer the questions from the comfort of his home while you sit there pretending it's you using the keyboard and mouse?
