I'd like to have a full schizo FDE setup where I only ever boot the OS from media that's strictly read only at the physical layer, such as a BD-R
but I'm not a pedophile so there's hardly any point in actually doing that, it's just that the vision seems cool

I mean that's really easy to implement.
The real factor is locking down network traffic and EM radiation to make it remotely worthwhile.

Half of these are not too hard ot implement. Start with the casio, bonus points for purchasing it with XMR or off gift cards purchased with XMR.

It's so remarkable to me how literally everyone, left right and center, likes kei trucks, but they're not allowed to be sold here. Outside of imported 'antiques' or whatever tf the 25 year import law is.

Ideally, I'd own a property that I'd rent out, in the roof would be a cluster of pi-zero TOR nodes as well as a system to periodically check rss feeds/yt subs/torrets to automatically download new stuff. All of this data will be stored at an easily accessible HDD bay on the property (garage), at which point I'd make periodic visits (maybe once a month) to pick up the HDDs and put others in place, ensure the system is up and running and leave.
I'd then check the integrity of the files on an air gapped machine at home (picreal, but isolated at the centre of a multiacre property with a large wall), consoom the new stuff while i play on retro consoles/games that I've hoarded, or have friends over for board game night/pool night/movie night.

I wouldn't have internet access at home. The house design for lights/heating/cooling would be as close to completely passive as possible to minimize every piece of electrical equipment, all of which would be off grid. Ideally there'd be almost no lights, no electrical sockets, no conduit - bar for a small area isolated to electrical needs like cooking, washing, gaming, movies etc.
>>

I'd be weirded out if my landlord demanded he pays my internet bill

No, I'd be happy to be more independent. Internet isn't that much here and some landlord bothering about his monthly visits would quickly land him in hospital

Oh you actually typed that out, on an anon image board in a thread about computers, it is like i am back in 2007 playing runescape and some highschool drop out that PK's 24/7 is asking for my address or to skype call.
How does this mentality still exist? We've been ridiculing you since the 90s, every argument for how pathetic you are to type something like this has been slung and you never have any replies that don't inherently sound like you're some retarded meth head.

Was there someone in your life that you're mirroring or are you lonely to the point you feel the need to project your totally tuff and strong image online as a defence mechanism. "If i'm tuff online that means i'm tuff in real life!"?

This may sound like i am being dishonest and aggressive - but i am sincere in my want to understand your head space. Because there's a 99% chance you're a substance abuser phone posting while bed rotting and you think being contrarian, or against "the system" is cool, despite never actually taking a meaningful action against said system. Because that is the terminal end of my constant need to discover the truth behind people like you. It always points towards the same direction, even though you may lie about it in your replies given enough time with you i can ring out the truth.

Be my play thing tuff guy.

warning, i think theyre getting popular with grifters and social media addicts. i had the extreme misfortune of doing a service call at the "estate" of a rich paki with one of these, an rx7, a bunch of exotic animals, a sad, nervous, abused dog that he shocked with an app on his iphone, a tesla, and a bunch of other random toys. ghetto rich. fake rich. ALL of his shit was neglected, just sat there. he has other real estate around the area, which is around a military base (not the big city nearby) and is known to be utterly trashy anyway

toyota trucks are great for a lot of things
bashing around sand dunes is not one of them
for a jeep maybe if you're out in OBX or wherever
>>
>>109216654
Trust me, massive sand dunes aren't a problem for old Hilux's. They eat them for breakfast. My problem was the fact that he sold them for scrap metal prices and now they're rare and heavily sought after because they're an indestructible car for offroading.

>bashing around sand dunes is not one of them

What's the reason for incandescent lamps tho?
>>
>>109215816
You've got the "chicken tax" 25% tariff on foreign-made trucks and cargo vans (which is the only one still in effect out of all the tariffs in that bill) and the 25 year import rule is because in the 80s Mercedes-Benz was a bunch of piss babies over Americans buying their cars for less money in Europe and shipping them home so they spent way more money lobbying congress

I'm sensitive to LED lights. Even high CRI lights look green to me and flicker. Incandescent lights are full spectrum and actual black body. Also if you've ever recorded a video with LED lights you can easily notice it even with the proper white balance. You would need a full color card and even then you would have worse results. There is reason why film makers still use massive tungsten lights.

What you want to look into is earthships and underground concrete domes. You could improve that house with bolted on offset aluminum shades though. The west and north side should have that entire face covered by a perforated metal shade to keep it from absorbing heat. It also needs roof soffits or a cupola. It needs underground intake vents and a cupola on top of the roof if you want good passive cooling. Then transom windows and intakes for all the rooms for as much convective cooling as possible. Then on the south and east side just paint it black to absorb heat in winter.
