I've only ever bought one, and I've never owned the actual Casio equivalent, so I can't say how it compares to a real one, but back in 2022 I bought a SKMEI knockoff of, I think, a Casio A500WA, for just over $10 USD.

Pros and cons:

+ It's still entirely functional, so I guess I'm closing in on $2.50 per timekeeping-year.
- The finish on the case is a metal-look coating on plastic, and has worn down to what I can best describe as a natural nylon color at the fillets.
- It runs a little slow; losing maybe a minute every couple of months.
- The metal band tends to collect black residue and sometimes stain my wrist with it, but from what I can see, this seems to happen even with high-dollar watches too. I just scrub the band with an old toothbrush whenever I notice it.

Overall, I'm perfectly fine with what I got for what I paid.

I am in EU, every type of item (on the declaration form) imported from china attracts a 3 euro surcharge (for example buying 1 pen will have 3 euro surcharge, buying 1 pen and 1 pencil will add another 3 euros), so until there is a way around this I will not be ordering any /csg/

Yep, out of touch politicians that want to stop the evil Chinese market flood while... not having a market of their own to go to after closing off the Chinese one as they've made it impossible to manufacture anything domestically and outsourced everything to Asia. Out of touch, short-sighted morons are running the world and are in charge of the nuclear codes. What wonderful times we live in.

what's wrong with me.
>>
>>109227562
The biggest income is from World Tour, I personally do the 30 days challenge that nets you 200.000 diamonds, it's not such a hassle to complete unlike the 60 or 90 days ones, where towards the end you will have to do shit like complete 5 hifi rush levels or 8 levels of shell shuffle, multiple days in a row.

Second best income is from gogo match, namely from winning the legendary league, where first place nets you 50.000 diamonds, the strat I use for cheesing an easy win is by when I promote to legendary from diamond, I keep my xp below 50K so my upcoming opponents are easy losers. Usually 200-300K xp is enough to win the first place.
Then I keep my xp as low as possible to demote back diamond, keep my xp count still as low as I can but just enough to promote back to legendary, with easy opponents. Rinse and repeat and you can get 100k from this every month.

To quickly farm xp, complete 4 new levels in gogo to get 30 minutes of unlimited life and spam level 11, it gets you 1000xp on average and it takes like 4 sweeps to complete, you can get around 100-120K xp from spamming that level in 30 minutes.

This + doing stuff like watch chink slop for 15s for 50 diamonds, daily check in, easy and fast games like otters treasure and price land will get you about another 50K diamonds in 30 days. So around 350K diamonds every month.

Credits are difficult to redeem, for me the $5 ones get sold out in 2 seconds after a refresh, $50 often isn't even available, so I don't bother with that one.
My strat for this one is to tap on "view more" in "exchange for rewards" exactly one second before 12am (11:59:59am / 23:59:59), which is the time when credits refresh and claim $5 with $1 asap. This time I managed to claim all those credits with 90% success rate.
In theory if you have enough diamonds, you can claim up to $48 worth of credits before the first ones start to expire.

Enjoy

I received a soldering iron last week and now I have the hot air too. I'm still waiting for an iron holder and a tip cleaner.

>>
>>109249682
Thumbnails and titles are the make-or-break of YouTube, and if I see some faggot is doing blatant clickbait I don't care what he has to say, the contents of the video being the opposite of what the cover says makes it even worse.

And I know Laowhy, he's a rice burner that started off by sucking up to China and glorifying everything Chinese, only to do a 180 on it all and do anti-Chinese clickbait to stay afloat. Not that I have anything against anti-Chinese commentary, but this sort of flip-flopping is the exact definition of a grifter. Like NFKRZ making a career out of talking about his country, and once that was no longer profitable he turned to shitting on his country. Two faced, spineless worms without any true beliefs or principles, all of them.
>>
>>109249712
So ignoring glaring problems will just make it go away? That's not how it works either. Good for you though.

Winston and Matt self-censored because they actually lived there becasue they don't have freedom of speech. Then it got increasingly worse, even though they tried their best to make things work with the authorities but then they decided to move and now they can say what they want. It's not flip-flopping.

It's not a conspiracy or grift to point that the 3 gorges dam could collapse in the future, it could very will do that

It's not a grift to point out the unprecedented extreme weather china experiences every year now, the floods, the tornadoes where they shouldn't be, which will lead to economic collapse later. Over 70% of all chinese cities are in extreme weather territories

this one looks to be their new base model and has an app, ai noise reduction on the mics, EQ presets and a low latency mode. really good deal if the sound is decent because it's like 7 dollars cheaper than when i bought my t13 and even lower if you play the coupon and cashback game

eh, on one hand it has many exotic security bits like that iphone thing, triangles, 5-point stars, inverted cross etc; on the other hand there's a lot of dupes for the more common types and I'm not sure if it's due to legit redundancy concerns or just to pad out the box.

it depends on how autistic you are about figs. for me i want accuracy, neat paint lines, texture and overall quality and a lot fo fakes can't deliver what i want. some people who buy bootlegs are ok with some mistakes here and there and don't think too hard about them

got some new batteries and a charger for the camcorder i snagged from the thrift store. theyre significantly lighter and smaller, but i have no clue what their capacity is like yet. the old battery is at least 25 years old and is still able to charge, but i dont know what its discharge history is like so i figured id grab a few more to keep in the bag. the old and new ones are all NiMH and im not at all familiar with this chemistry. the only bad thing about the new charger is that it doesnt have the barrel jack the old one does, which lets me power the camera off-battery. the new charger is sonically welded shut, too, which is really fucking annoying because ive had to repair several other battery chargers before and they simply unscrewed.

>panic bought a chinkdoll
It was a wild purchase I admit. I make no excuses and have few regrets.

The hands are due to a body suit I have it wearing to protect the material from dust and dirt. I'll have to get some gloves if I keep taking pictures since it makes the hands look bad and it's hard to hide those.
I do general doll things with it: styling hair, buying and trying out clothes, posing, light photography, etc. The size gives it more presence compared to some normal dolls I have and it's soft to the touch. I'm inclined to randomly pat its head and its big enough to hug. It's nice to indulge in the fantasy of having my own anime girl around, even with how janky it is in places. It has a full skeleton so it can but set upright, though I have to lean it against a wall. Its range of motion is good so it can make a lot of poses easily. The biggest issue is ironically part of the reason I bought it: the head is made of PVC and is a different color than the rest of the body, so it looks really bad if I don't go out of my way to mask it in photos. In addition, the head's mount is tilted in a way so that I can't get it to look up. I have to arch the back and pull the neck up far to get it to look straight because of this. The head is disproportionately large, but that works with the cartoon aesthetic.
I don't use it for sex, so I don't have any details there. It has the parts for it but I'm not interested in that, I just wanted the cute derpy looking doll and the price, though high, was still lower than serious BJDs and it was life size to boot.

I've had it for about a year now and I've been satisfied with it. A giant anime figure I can pose fit in with my tastes. It's still decoration at the end of the day, but the interactivity appeals to me more.

i was planning on doing pegboard for my small handtools but instead realized id save a lot more space by hanging them under a shelf, so i bought some 1/4" mild steel and printed up some brackets for them to hang under a shelf above my bench. i also bought some tiny magnets for anything i cant loop over it, and it works great. printing something equivalent for a skadis would have taken so much time and filament. right now im just keeping my crimps in a drawer, but im planning on making brackets for the skadis for the 1/4" steel rod so i can make them as long as i want and hang heavier/bulkier things.

It's big, 28 cms tall or 11 inches. Luckily it was the right size to still fit in the crotch pocket of the plush doll I bought before >>109239131
This thing has 2 functions: vibrate and rotate. first is self explanatory. Rotate spins the actual onahole part inside, but it also moves it up and down. The opening hole for the device is like a soft donut and with the spin function creates some suction, but it's a little narrow and it came off each time I pulled out so I kept using it without it.
You can totally use it just with the included buttons but since they were covered by the doll I installed their chinky app which gives you finer control and some meme functions like matching movements to video which I haven't tried.
Charges via USB-C. Also came with a "hands free" mount which I haven't tried yet. Definitely needs lube
Finally, it took me a while to get there but when I did I could only think of pic related. Very much worth it

Adata is a real global brand. Netac and Fanxiang are real brands. Kingspec kinda sorta is if you're going cheap. Plus there's some hollowed out legacy brands like Lexar.
SSDs are a commodity good now, almost nobody actually makes their own to any real extent, they are assembled to desired price/spec point out of industry-standard components. A lot of chink IG5236 drives report fake temperature, which isn't great. It also goes without saying that now's a bad time to shop for drives, so if you can delay it (for up to a couple years) it's probably better to do so.

The questions to answer are:
what controller does it have (if it's DRAM-less you don't really want that it as a system drive)
is there onboard DRAM and how much, usually it's 1GB DRAM per 1TB space on upper end drives
what nand chip type it uses (more levels per cell is cheaper and worse, triple-level cell is common for high end drives and is better than qlc, you won't find slc/mlc in modern drives anymore)
actual nand chip make&model, if you want to dig into their specs for actual endurance ratings and such

I have a couple Fanxiang S770 bought back when SSDs were cheap and chink NAND memory just started appearing and was unproven, one is a 2TB with YMTC (Chinese) NAND, another is a 4TB with Micron chips, both see a fair amount of use for a consumer-grade device. Obviously you're taking fate into your own hands with Chinese drives because they may have worse QC than proper brands, but then again Samsungs top end pro SSDs killed themselves in droves due to buggy firmware couple years ago. Make backups and don't use supercheap trashy drives for important tasks.

Why does ali insist on selling this cucumber washing device to me? I don't even eat that many cucumbers and just washing them regularly on the sink like any other vegetable is no effort at all.
>>

Just imagining the thoughts of the "inventor" is funny. Chang is by the sink one day washing his cucumbers and thinks of all the people washing them and how hard that is, he will help the world by inventing the cucumber washing machine, and he not only does it, he manage to get investors to invest in his brilliant idea.

I see. Hopefully the ona is durable and doesn't start to break down after a few uses. How loud is, for both vibrate and spin?

Its not the fan, its the transformer/inverter/ whatever, the fan its on only when online (battery power). Its clearly an electrical noise, not coilwhine, but a buzzing, a hum.

that's just amazon, if ali is going to copy amazon, why not also copy the same return policy because you already have a warehouse full of workers that already manage shipping / sorting, just resell return palettes, or offer "warehouse deals" AKA reselling returned/opened items.
The problem is that on amazon people return shit as unopened and swap the contents with something broken, then the seller gets the blame when in reality it's wagies fault (I guess not it's going to be AI's job) for not carefully checking if the returned item is opened or not. Then scummy sellers who are guilty for sending broken shit remove 1 star reviews by blaming amazon's fulfillment system.
And it would also be trivial to get people to work as delivery drivers if there are enough warehouses to ship directly from the warehouse to the doorstep (since the last mile delivery is very expensive, assuming that alibaba doesn't already own the chinese last mile delivery companies and to get good rates).
But all of this money is going to be spent... just to get banned by EU policy because the EU hates the fact china NEVER buys anything from the EU.
Also the google AI told me that amazon's shipping business is running on a loss and that all their profits are from AWS.
>>
>estimated duties are almost the same price as the items i want to buy

its so fucking over, might as well use amazon now
>>
>they said it gonna be 3€ per item type
>its actually 3.75€

I HATE EU JEWS SO FUCKING MUCH

i thing that Chang is also getting a mental breakdown from this, id imagine they lost 90% of customers from EU, that is literally millions of € lost

>They've removed the $5 option
>Figure I'll just redeem 3+1+1 instead
>Can only redeem 1 coupon each
>Add some cheap items
>Go to checkout
>Hit with a €4.22 duty charge per item
>Check out the "duty offset" coupon
>You're forced to into a limited selection
>Duty offset coupon can't even be used for the duties
Holy fuck what a shitshow
