How come their tools still work 30+ years later and the competitors break down after just 5 years or less? Are ThinkPads the closest thing in computing industry to Bosch?
>>109240529Most old stuff (30+) is still working. I have a Krupps kitchen device from my grandma (from 1976) works like a charm.Bosch, Miele, etc. all of them are shit now.
>>109240564The device is from 1976... not my grandma.
>>109240529competitors products from 30 years ago probably still work, now everything is designed to last 1 year and be replaced
>>109240529Guten Morgen, Herr!
green line bosch battery is long gone bearings are good
>>109240529>30 years agoAt that time they produced in Germany and Germany was still German.Nowadays Bosch appliances (parts imported from all over the world and assembled in Poland) are garbage and break after two years.
>>109240529because Germany had a terrible reputation 30+ years ago and had to do work to improve and be seen as reliable. Now that they have the rep their tools are slowly degrading as well with most production shifting to east Europe or Asia and Bosch moving towards rent seeking.
>>109240529Why would a company sell you something that works 30 years instead of selling you something working for 5 which you then get to replace by 5 more that you have to buy? Are you a commie?
>>109240974But who was Makita?!
>>109240529bosch isn't even as good as some of the other competitors
