Which browser between Brave, Waterfox and Zen is the meta nowadays / uses the least amount of RAM?
>>109241852Or Helium, i should add
>>109241852chromium (it's absolute trash ux)
too subjective
>>109241907I don't care all that much about privacy because i'm using windows after all. I just don't want a browser that leaks ram like crazy, firefox fucking sucks
>>109241852>uses the least amount of RAMWhy? Are you a RAMlet? You're not a RAMlet are you? How much RAM do you have?
>>109241918
>>109241852>fatruined

If on Windows, Firefox 32-bit (with accessibility.force_disabled set to 1, a known memory leaker). It will crash a tab if it tries to go beyond 2GB, and I'm noticing GPU Process (in about:processes) doesn't leak memory unlike in the 64-bit version.
>>109241852>>109241865Helium > Brave > all
>>109241852>Which browser between Brave, Waterfox and Zen is the meta nowadays None of the aboveFirefox + arkenfox + policies.json or GNU Icecat on Fedora>picWOOD, post moar
>>109242068>>109242024I shan't use Firefox anymore
>>109241852Why are some people so intent on turning everyone into a fat disgusting pig? Honest question.
>>109242712Degenerates do not know beauty.
>>109242712>>109242720Stop being gayAlso i got Helium
>>109241852I'll vouch for Helium, but really all I know is that while Zen is nice its RAM usage is fucking horrendous. might switch back at some point
>>109242884Fuck nevermind i'm switching to Brave i just found out who the helium dev is
>>109242076i thought all browser did this in caching? You can probably limit it in about:options but otherwise iirc if you start to run out of ram itll drop it. Also for everyone else here cool test to see how much ram is cached (apart from opening top et al.) is to run sysctl -w vm.drop_caches=3 (or something like that, probably distro dependant) and itll drop cached ram.

>>109247549>>109248371One of them is a cringe troon on xitter but helium is the one browser where violentmonkey and 4chanX is working so i guess i'll keep using it
>>109249127Just give up and use tampermonkey
>>109249177I tried but 4chanx didn't work
