>>109243453>why is my computer so slow ?If it's a laptop, here is your answer. Laptops degrade over time it's just weird I have always found it normal till I switch over to a desktop where that shit doesn't happen, not to the degree I keep experiencing.
>>109243453Dear sir, have you tried turning your computer f and on again
>>109243453Thermal paste dries out, you might need to clean it for better airflow, if you install a lot of apps (on every OS) they might start up and run in the background, and of course some proprietary operating systems need to be reinstalled every few years due to updates. >>109243670>Laptops degrade over timeHello windows anon! I will continue to use ancient hardware with no issues! That you for throwing out your old laptops because winsaar 11 slows down over time!
>>109244086>Hello windows anon! I will continue to use ancient hardware with no issues! That you for throwing out your old laptops because winsaar 11 slows down over time! No, I am talking more about the fact that internals for some reason get extremely hot and performance gets sub-optimal as well. I am rocking a AMD Ryzen 3600, which is ancient by today's hardware standards on desktop and holds up but my laptop supposed to have an equivalent to that chip jet it suffers form laptop-isms, the battery going to shit and the laptop getting burning hot. And that's always within 3 years this happens. so this tells me it's far more than your shitty grievance over Windows 11, you goddamn subhuman.
>>109244353>And that's always within 3 years this happensOf course components degrade over time but 3 years is absurdly short for a product lifecycle. I generally keep my desktops for around 10 years
>>109244407>Of course components degrade over time but 3 years is absurdly short for a product lifecycle. No maybe I haven't been clear, by 3 years I mean when these pass then problem start to appear.> I generally keep my desktops for around 10 yearsI know this is the positive aspect of desktops, my father (bought in 2012~) has one older than that and he is fine with it being the secondary machine (as of a few years ago when it was the main system). However I have always been a laptop user only, because desktops I got were absolute shit that was the bad old days. early 2000s hardware. And I upgrade my laptop ruffly every 6 years because at year 6 it's unbearable (ultra slow heat generator can't put my hands on the surface and the battery is close to dead)
