Why does Claude sometimes just ignore when you link him a GitHub wiki and try to find the file in the actual repo itself
I work at a top 100 university which has a lot of Nvidia chips and doesn't give us any AI other than copilot(what a useless shit) but they get angry if I run huge models on them so I can only run small models like 31 billion parameters which is obviously not good enough. So I buy codex and run that. I'm paying some of the pay back to work there. I can't do anything without codex ofc. I also found out everyone else is doing the same thing. There's people who buy claude. Which is pretty insane. On the plus side, I never say no to anything because with codex you can do anything, just have to wait for resets.Anyone else paying to vibe code for work?
>>109243795do you just click on any link strangers send you?
>>109243804If I were on their computer already I would.
>>109243802Pretty much in the same boat as you. The boomers at work are still stunned by copilot and think its basically AGI. When I tell them the SOTA models blow it away they look at me like I'm some sucker falling for hype. God I fucking hate boomers.
I'm guessing that grok is on par with fable and sol, we don't see anyone one shotting the 4D projection game.
>>109243819Pretty successful guy I know making top 5% money thinks sonnet 4.6 is peak AI and actually hated sonnet 5 because it takes too long to answer
Sol knows how to handle my codebase
>>109243845But, can it:But can Sol one shot this?Create a Python Pygame Community Edition (pygame ce) steampunk themed 4D flying game where you shoot down enemy dragons with your bow and arrow. The 3D projection of the 4th dimension, where a 3D transparent well-rendered essentially holographic concept, is the "4D viewport" which shall be labeled the "Magick Gemstone of the Four-Seeing Eye". The viewport is to operate analogous to a 2D projection of a 3D view. This implies that the 4D camera has a "towards" direction in 4D, such that 4D objects shall be larger when nearer, and vise-versa. The thing to understand is that the center of the 4D viewport (ie 3D cube thing) is the center of the view, the "towards" of the 4D camera. suitable placeholder 4D graphics include hypercubes and hyperspheres.DON'T share with the model lol:in 4D, 3D objects have two sides. The cube in this example is like the 2D sensor in a camera - or like a 2D screen. You don't allow light to hit it from either side. I think this is the main thing that will trip up models, if they catch onto the idea that this is just math. This means you can see inside of a 3D object, in 4D, but the 3D object is only seen on one ... side ... of the 3D, and also it blocks your 4D view of other objects on the other side. Where it comes to projection, 4D objects can be modeled as a collection of 3D objects, but I don't know what the "4D polygon" will be, since it will be a volume. So some of the problem is likely resolved by searching math papers for advanced geometry equations.
>>1092438564D psychosis
I have 5 agents running. What nao?
I'm betting grok and sol and fable are on par when it comes to 4D projection.

That way we don't need to crowd source anything. Also, some people really care about buying stuff not made in china.Honestly in some ways it was so easy it feels like the people at Amazon intentionally designed it this way so we could do this.

About caching: does anyone know how long things stay cached when using Claude Code or Codex? If I am interacting with the model, I am guessing previous interactions are mostly cache hits from one turn to the next. But if I leave a session in the background and come back to it the next day, and simply continue, will the past turns all be recomputed, leading to a greater quota spend, or are things staying cached fairly long?

>>109244827Does it have to be quiet? And does it need to be high quality and slow, or low quality and fast?If slow is fine and it doesn't have to be quiet then you can think about buying an used and old DDR4 server. If you need speed then a desktop with used 3090s or AMD cards. Also depends on whether you are open to importing from China. But really you should try using open models through API and then hosting them on cloud machines to get an idea of what models and what hardware will be acceptable for your use case.
>>109244860I'm the guy he responded to.At that point just use Qwen 27B. It's smaller and better IMO.
Even on high (no longer xhigh) Sol usage is a bit ridiculous, this doesn't look normal.
>>109244827honestly, don't waste your time unless you're willing to spend north of 20k
lmao gotta free up space for my .mid generator. I wonder what its' doing lololol
>>109244907no. medium.hmm good idea
It's really not worth investing in local unless your use case is truly sensitive or illegal (e.g. /aicg/)
>>109244918Use Medium
>>109244876It think there's a non zero chance it would flag that. Fable really has to approached like a Victorian lady that's always about to faint, you have to curate its environment to make sure it doesn't come across anything that might rightly or more often wrongly make it pass out.
There's an untapped potential for a harness which intelligently compacts and summarizes at ~50ish% of the context window resulting in lower costs and better results (since perf drops off as context window lengthens) at the expense of longer processing time.
>>109244961lol you can unironically set this up in pi from scratch in like 10 minutes
>/model still requires you to set effort to a higher amount in claude>in codex you can set it immediatelyit's the little things, you can see how compute cucked anthropic isplus i have half a dozen resets available with codex
what is pi and why should I care?
>>109244860I really didn't like or have luck with any of the Gemma-4 models for coding. Best I've seen at the moment for agentic coding is qwen3.6-27b and Qwen-AgentWorld-35B-A3B which is a finetune of qwen3.5. Just be sure to break the tasks down into smaller less complex bites.
