I always knew that Brave users were stupid but sheesh, just go to brave://settings/extensions/v2 and enable as needed.
Also your reminder that this won't last forever, Chromium has to obey Google, and Brave has to obey Chromium.

Brave felt bloated. switched to Helium, works alright on muh Leenux. annoying that you can't import passwords without bitwarden or a similar extension

mv2 will be around in the chromium codebase behind compile flags until google stops supporting chrome apps for enterprise in 2028. chrome apps are mv2

I'm using Helium, it's pretty cool
The only thing i miss is the ''Auto expand vertical tabs independently per window'' option, but i guess that will be implemented soon enough

librewolf was slower than avx2 compiled chromium, before i put it on a ram disk

after ramdisk i cant tell the difference (despite that anti-fingerprinting that is supposed to tank your performance)

Do you guys really use an Addon just for 4chan? Maybe it's time to take a break.

>>109244847
Only if you're poor, Chromium is great for Low-end/Mid-end PCs, Gecko is for High-end PCs.

>>
>>109244741
how can it work on mv3? I thought mv3 created a bunch of limitations????
>>
>>109244753
You're the person who uses a browser engine made by the biggest adtech company in the world. The one that, unsurprisingly keeps reducing your influence over how websites are displayed to you.

But no, of course, I forgot - you probably put all your faith in some autismfork - one made by a tiny team that's one melty away from disbanding or leaking all your data. The ones where security features the "devs" (#ifdef-flippers and copy-pasters) don't understand (almost all of them) just get turned off.
Once Chrome truly removes Manifest V2 related code and these retards have to actually maintain something, they'll be fucked.

wrong because i use adguard and their mv3 version works just aswell as mv2 ublock

do you also get covid booster vaxes?
>>

>>
>>109244904
https://github.com/gorhill/uBlock/wiki/uBlock-Origin-works-best-on-Firefox
Have these really all been adressed?
I doubt it.

Once advertisers figure out the weaknesses of V3 adblocking, they will exploit the hell out of them.
>>
>>109244919
you don't even know what you're talking about, have you tried adguard or are parroting bullshit you heard from someone else?

>Even MORE desperate workarounds relying on temporary workarounds rather than just using a browser that's on your side

PATHETIC
Chromecucks will never learn, will they?
>I-It's not removed yet!
>Y-You can flip this checkbox and then you can keep using these extensions... for now!
>They moved the checkbox to an even more hidden page, just check it there!
>Not it's in some config file you have to create! Don't switch to Firefox!!! Just... just believe!
>Just install some fork maintained by literally who that relies on non-guaranteed behavior and random polyfills! Surely, this will last!

Even with all of those, UBO with Firefox will block ads better. It works now. It will work in the future. You are jumping through all these hoops for nothing. Just to keep using the adtech browser.
