After searching in internet for a midi keyboardI think I'm gonna buy this oneIt's really amazingIt's not "mini" or "micro"The keys are regular sizedAnd the 37 keys layout looks pretty balanced to meIt gives a room for me to stretch my hands enough while preforming the beatBut isn't too long like the 49 layoutI'm still not sure how i will perform my beats on itLike I'm gonna stick to the keys? or also use the pads??I'm not really sure..
buying a 61 key midi controller was the greatest mistake of my life
>>109244210for me its the keylab all day every day
>>109244417Damn bruh this one looks very good
>>109244334Same, it just sits on the shelf and gathers dust.
>>109244334>>109244492You could put in a modicum of effort and learn a few licks, progressions, scale runs. Its really not that hard its your own autism brain making you think it is.
>>109244503do you have any resources for a music retard?the furthest i've got years ago (still remember, somehow) was half a song i've learned by heartall i really know is where the sheet music notes are. nothing about keys or any other symbols really
>>109244465it's awesome but this one is the first gen which has been discontinued. there is the mk2 which is has arguably better layout but lost most of the side wood-like border which i thought gave it a lot of charm. it got it back with the mk3 but now the controls all look white (or black if black model) which i hate because it lost all its contrast which i hate so im stuck with the first gen cause i am that picky
>>109244417jesus fuck
>>109244562here's the mk2 for reference, it would be the best of both world to me if it retained the same amount of wood border.>>109244576the regular keylab is the high end version, there is the essential version which is much cheaper but obviously cheaper build and less features
Consider getting something like a microkey 2 instead, with a 5.5" octave you save 5 inches on a 61 key, making it almost as small as a 49 key and you can reach more keys if you have small hands.Honestly though, even 61 keys is limiting if you actually want to play music. If you just want to do data entry in a DAW you can get away with 37 keys and octave switch around.
>>109244334I couldn't make do with that either. 88 keys or bust.
midi hardware is deprecated. drawing notes is way better
>>109244946with this same logic you may as well use ai
>>109244949i'd use an AI that could generate midi files for me
