Thin light good screen size iOS it's what the normies always say they wanted

but the normies all bought that giant heavy brick the iPhone Pro Max

when I said I wanted a small phone, i meant height and width. not this thin bullshit!
>>
>>109246241
1 camera. That means it's the shittiest of all the iphones.
>>

I think it's mostly cuz most people upgrade through their phone plan's upgrade plan, so they want to max out the "specs" with the one shot they get
I just buy my phone outright so I just think about what I actually want. I bought both the pro max and air to try them both and return one. Initially I preferred the Air but the gap has widened over time.

The fact that the iPhone Air is such a tank is a major selling point. It's like having one of those old Nokia bricks with how it can be caseless and just take any punishment. Plus it really feels nicer in the pocket, especially cuz no case. On top of that the screen size is great and the thinness is actually really nice. After using it for a while, going back to my old iPhone 15 Pro Max feels absurd

The speakers and the battery are not good, and the price was quite high. It's a great second hand phone, you can get one like new for 30% off.

>the normies all bought that giant heavy brick the iPhone Pro Max
Normies will always buy the biggest, heaviest brick they can find because they watch videos all day and want 5 cameras at the back

terrible battery life and liquid ass

The Galaxy S25 Edge was better, but Sammy killed that off already.
>>
It's a worse phone for more money. It was really suspicious that the tech media kept praising it.

It has all the disadvantages, and it not even lighter nor thinner. But is newer and some buyers just take whatever their plan offers.
>>

If that wasn't the cheapest model, people would buy it. Normies just think that if they buy a phone that costs as much as flagships just a couple of years ago, everyone will think they're poor.

This is the right answer. The iPhone is a status symbol. Vapid whores look at you different if you have the latest iPhone. I refused to believe it, but I changed from an Android poorbrick to the 17 Pro and bitches wouldn’t stop staring at me with ‘fuck me’ eyes.

Too late
If they released this in 2017 it would have been hot shit.
The thin phone trend died along with skinny jeans (good riddance)

I remember having an argument with that jannie cunt who rules the roost in /spg/ about the iPhone Air sales figures and his/her opinion of what constitutes a flop. The Air has sold around 600,000 globally with around 1 million produced. You'll see the Air still available but heavily discounted. Soft arse, daft cunt jannie who rules the roost in /spg/ tried to equate the sale of the iPhone Air with the Samsung Tri-Fold, a phone where only 10,000 were ever produced and most of them in South Korea. Soft cunt jannie claimed that the Air wasn't a failure, it was in fact a success, but the Tri-Fold, a phone with a limited production was a complete failure because it only sold 10,000 units, it's entire production run.

/spg/ is a complete shitfest and not worth the participation.

Anyway, the Air is actually quite a decent phone but it's a rare mis-step by Apple, a company that is usually the exemplar for the rest of the phone manufacturers. If you can still buy it in your prefecture then I heartily recommend buying one if you're in the market for a powerful, heavily discounted flagship.

if you've ever been to an apple store to check it out you'd know. It feels cheaper than the 17pros they are displayed next to it. It's almost like a bait to get people to say "eh, might as well get the pro"
>>
>>109251957
an apple product available at 20+% discount from third party retailers is a sales failure or an end of life clearout. the retail margins on apple products are too low for a retailer to do any large discount voluntarily.
>>
>>109254169
when an apple product lineup has multiple tiers, it's designed to get you to buy the top top tier.

>It's almost like a bait to get people to say "eh, might as well get the pro"
I never considered that
>>
>>109254550
Agreed and something I tried to explain at the time to the prick jannie who rules the roost in the /spg/ but the thick cunt didn't want to listen or accept that sales of 600,000 units was a failure for Apple. Cunt.

no

It's $200 dollars more than the 17, and $400 dollars more than the 17e.
>>
>>109254169
>It feels cheaper
backwards. The pro feels cheaper. It's literally aluminum
