Red pill me on the SFF cards. Why are they 50-100 dollars cheaper than normal versions, if they supposedly have the same performance?
Wouldn't it be harder to pull off same performance at a smaller size?

They don't. They have less metal and throttle sooner. Modern GPU boards are tiny even on big boy cards. It's easy to make them SFF.
