>>109249594uBO Lite is dogshit tho, it's as bad as Brave's built-in AdBlocker, uBO does not work with MV3.
>>109249601yes it doeshttps://github.com/r58Playz/uBlock-mv3
>>109249594moving to mv3 was google's plan to leave a hole for themselvesyeah you'll block everything else sure, but google will have its data regardless

>>109250306nowhere does it say that. you just need to make the policy file in whatever retarded windows directory it lives in.if you can't intuit that or use make, you have no business being here. watch the ads, piggie
>>109250439Yeah, so it never gets updated. Useless
>>109250485im not even putting much faith in that project, its just sad the level of helplessness you have learnedwatch the ads then, piggie
>>109250530Not the same anon and I installed it on a fucking macbook, but the concern is realShit's probably never getting updated, and even if it does, manually updating it by moving files around is probably worse than switching to firefox and call it a day
>>109250566what do they even need to update? ublock has worked for years. the actually volatile parts aka filter lists update inside the extension.you can trivially set up a job that git pulls and makes the extension.but yes best would be switch to ff or a fork that doesn't lock webRequestBlocking behind a whitelist
>>109249606>r58Playz I don't trust it unless it's gorhill

>>109249636Chromium also blocking ublock.
>>109249601Brave's ad-blocker and uBO Lite both offer great performance by default. The problem is with lack of flexibility and MV3 placing hard limits on the amount of DNRs which can be active at once. That being said, Brave's ad-blocker is more capable than uBO light OOTB, and it introduces less overhead when working in "Aggressive" (what uBO calls "Complete") mode.
