You will never be a real BlackBerry. You have no BB10, you have no security features, you have no enterprise contracts. You are a Chinese abomination twisted by off-the-shelf parts and Kickstarter money into a crude mockery of RIM’s perfection.

All the “validation” you get is two-faced and half-hearted. Behind your back people mock you. An executive would be disgusted and ashamed of you, your reviewers laugh at your autistic appearance after shilling it for money.

Businessmen are utterly repulsed by you. Decades of experience have allowed them to sniff out counterfeit/insecure e-waste with incredible efficiency. Even Titans who “pass” look uncanny and unnatural to an accountant. Your case's sharp, cheaply molded shell is a dead giveaway. And even if you manage to get a drunk CEO to switch over, he’ll turn tail and bolt the second he gets a peek of your diseased, GMS-infected stock ROM.

You will never be viable. Your price gets discounted every other week and you tell yourself some autist might care, but deep inside you feel the deluge of CPU/RAM strain creeping up like a weed, ready to crush your ancient MediaTek chip under the unbearable shitshow of apps and background services.

Eventually it’ll be too much to bear - you’ll turn on the sink, open your charging/3.5mm flaps, disable Find My Device, and plunge into the cold, watery, abyss. Your autistic handler will find you, heartbroken but relieved that they no longer have to put up with their shit purchase. They’ll toss you into a landfill in a box marked with your name and every scavenger for the rest of eternity will know some sweatshop-made phone is buried there. You'll take millions of years to decompose.

This is your fate. This is what you chose. There is no turning back

Blackberry really blew it with BB10. They were too late to compete with Android and Apple. Really it was their last shot at Anything. BB10 had some nice features (Hub, and the thing that allowed different personal/corporate-managed sides of the system). BBM was pretty much dead by that point, young people weren't using Blackberries any more. They still had a small slice of the enterprise market, though.
Perhaps if they'd doubled-down on product development and marketing to that enterprise market, the BB10 phones might have had a chance. Solid as it was, they could've further worked out bugs, settled for making a boring but dependable product with predictable market conditions, and just made solid money selling the things to banks and governments. Ebay/backmarket/etc would be flooded with 2-year-old refurbs of some nice keyboard phones.
Instead they just have the embedded OS now, and I'm not sure what else, or what sort of future that embedded OS has.

They dumped so much money into it lmao, probably almost all of it, you can tell because the product is pretty polished (for the time).
Also QNX was already used in a bunch of things before BB bought them.
