The login manager Mint uses lightdm doesn't show Wayland sessions, but you should be able to get into a TTY and launch it manually or install any alternative login manager and see it that way. Mint should just be a fork of Ubuntu 24 and Debian 13 (if I recall the numbers correctly), so it should be fine. Especially since every Wayland compositor is its own thing vs X11 WMs that need Xorg to run
