Do tech recruiters look at your social media accounts before moving forward with the interview process?
>>
idk but I once called to raise my credit card limit and the woman at the company pretended to "ask" her boss and do a complex check but all she did was google my name and click on my linkedin profile while signed in so I could see it later on my visitors page LMAO what a fucking embarrassment

What is the pedophile lifestyle? Watching anime and posting on v?
>>
>>109255755
If pedophilia is a sexuality, then you're discriminating against a sexual minority.
If pedophilia is a mental illness, then you're discriminating against the mentally ill.
If Bluesky holds itself up as being informed by humanitarian values, then the most rational option is to disassociate pedophilia (protected) from pedophilic activities (unprotected).

That said, leftists are usually not as warm to pedophilia as you might think, Wikipedia explicitly states that anyone who so much as suggests that they are a pedophile faces an unconditional permanent ban from the platform.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Child_protection
The type of leftist to have a humanitarian understanding of the conditions is rare and fleeting, especially in an environment that politically rewards outrage and nuance reduction.

making a post can be a pedophilic activity, for example when it aims at normalizing pedophilia.
>>
>>109255755
It's a good idea for them to check how dumb their potential employees are in public. If I were a recruiter and saw someone bashing their former employer on X, I wouldn't hire them.

I forgot to add, he was likely labelled intolerant not because of a moderator sympathetic to pedophiles, but because the moderator 'vibe-judged'/ mistook him for someone who compared homosexuality to pedophilia.
Without context, it's hard to tell, though.

I don't have any social media accounts with my real name and still got hired as an engineer. Always wanted to be anonymous online and never trusted psychopaths like Fuckerberg with my data.

By pedophilic activity I was more so referring to activities that involved real children.
As for 'normalizing pedophilia', you'd be surprised how common that term is used to shut down productive conversations.
When the topic comes up, it feels as though people switch to a state of programmed thinking.

I remember many moments in my life where I caught myself thinking my condemnation of x or y wasn't fully justified.
Or in other words, I was arguing for something that I couldn't defend without deferring to social views or power structures (reporting/ threatening people for their opinions)

I feel ashamed looking back to how intellectually dishonest I used to be, but I am very clearly in the minority for thinking what I was doing was bad.

Most people have a large degree of tolerance for sticking to irrational decisions or emotional outbursts.
I have talked to people who had to outsource every small opinion from another person.
If you've ever read about Jungian psychology, typologyfags call them "Fe users", (e)xtraverted (F)eeling - going through life by judging something through the opinions of your peers.

What mostly separates intelligent people and idiots isn't IQ but the desire and will to learn and improve. Even if a person has very little ability but they at least recognise the fact that they have inherent and irrational biases that already puts such person above the rest of the masses. Your mindset is correct however just be aware that even trying to explain such things to idiots (or engaging in conversations or arguments with such people) is a waste of time and energy.

I often got asked why my email address are seemingly random numbers. I explained the meaning and they still didnt understand. Its a play on a word just hum it. Asked why I didnt have linkedin or Facebook. Why do I not have professional landing page. I am a physicists applied for consulting groups.

I feel like your views are becoming pretty rare. I had a friend who a few years ago lamented how pedophiles who never touched children are treated, now he's saying "death to all pedos"
People got pretty exyreme.

isn't that all their activities by definition?

They should, because if their mass hiring and they dont even bother with the gh profile, and they find something several months in they dont like because they start taking you seriously everyone loses
>>
>>109255755
They don’t look at it. But some companies do background checks that involve using ai to summarize your internet footprint

how is still up on /g/

No, its true. IQ measures things like being able to do math, but I've met people who legit couldn't do math in their head. Need a calculator for everything. But this dude was the most creative person I'd ever met. Could draw up blueprints and design out entire spaces out of thin air it seemed while everyone else was struggling just to get basic outlines done. Also seemed to have a very strong grasp on the fact that everyone else was a fucking idiot, but was subtle enough to be able to hide that from most people.

Eating a muffin isn't a pedophilic activity even if a pedophile does it.

But eating a child's muffin is.
