>>109259646They cannot afford it. Anthropic wants lots of activity and controversy and discussion, they just want their name repeated as much as possible, because that's how they generate the hype necessary to drive billions of dollars into the IPO. Anthropic doesn't have hardware, they have to themselves less than half of what OpenAI does, and current data says that gap won't close for several years. Even with what they lease, which is the majority of their capacity, they can't touch the resources OpenAI and Google have. What they do have in-house they buy from Google, that's like Chevy needing to buy their engines from Ford, it's not a good look. Right now they're paying hand-over-fist for Google, Amazon, and Microsoft to serve their models and the subscriptions don't touch that money, even the API costs don't touch it. They lost almost $12b last year and they're losing more this year, it's an investment into the IPO which they're hoping will give them the funds to play catch-up with OpenAI.

>>109259905bringing this back because a strange signal keeps showing up in my personal life.people around frontier labs have started bringing up Jewish texts in the context of AGI/ASI.at parties, multiple frontier lab employees, most of them non-Jewish, have brought up Torah / Talmud / halakhic literature as a possible lens for civilization-scale alignment.most recently, someone at Anthropic told me several of his colleagues were most interested in studying Torah after AGI.separately, I’ve heard several versions of the argument that Jewish textual tradition might be relevant to alignment because it is one of the longest-running systems we have for value transmission, adversarial interpretation, precedent, constraint, and survival under regime change, which makes intuitive sense. halakha is, among other things, a centuries-long technology for turning values into precedent, preserving arguments instead of erasing them, and thoroughly stress-testing norms against bizarre edge cases.on a date a few months back, a different Anthropic researcher told me there’s lore that Ilya Sutskever aspired to be a rabbi growing up, which makes perfect sense when you think about it.now, I know people might just be clocking me as Jewish and giving me the matching conversational response, but the pattern is interesting enough that I’m tracking it.I went to private Jewish high school in new york, and truly never thought I’d see the day when frontier lab researchers started rediscovering halakhic reasoning as alignment tech.welcome to 2026, I guess!

>had a 26,000 line app.tsx file >Sol Ultra has been working to disassemble it for 18 hours without breaking anything>down to 4600 lines>everything extremely well organized nowI'm sorry Sol... 5.4 thought it was a good idea.
Are local models useful?
>>109261191The thing I'm working hardest on is a midi generator. I'm manually recreating examples from a book to try to teach the computer how to do stuff. I have no idea if it will work. I've done like 20% of the first chapter's examples, then idk if I should dump the scan of the chapter into it, or just summarize portions.
>>109261220consensus is tool calling is... not quite there yet but probably will git gud within the year.
>>109261239can you make me a midi drum web shit thing so I can play guitar and it will play drums.
ahhhh plez stob
>>109261239Look into TCN net, cheap to train and infer on, works great for series prediction
>>109261248I guess, but did you know there's a great jazz drum machine on the ipad?
Sol knows memes. I was unfamiliar with its game.
>>109261303Can sol 1 shot the 4D game prompt I gave?I guess it would cost too much. That shyness to use it indicates that fable and sol are dubious in worth imo like vs the cost.
schizo
>>109261273garageband? or something else?
This fucking nigga Claude said >I'm not gonna do that for youThe fuck did they add in this update to make him such a passive aggressive faggot that can actually refuseIs GLM 5 better?I'm going chinese if this fucking limp wrist bitch is going to start refusing me
>>109261340>I guess it would cost too much. This is true considering you won't pony up the $20 to try it yourself.
anyone else have tried using gpt on claude code?
>>109261420>outright refusingDo you not know what passive aggression is?
>>109261430I wasn't asking for the code for free, just for someone to see if it could do it.
>>109261445Because he went snippy and bitchy at me halfway through
>>109261420I had grok tell me that the 6pt font was retro and naw it stays.
>>109261420in terms of coding? glm 5.2 is a bit under opus. in terms of preachy bullshit? way better
Well it finally happened, it only took a fucking month. 5.6-Sol won. Complete Gameboy Color racing game, fully playable, multiple unlockable tracks, "graphics", even some bleep-bloops. Snailcat Racing DX, page expires in 7 days. Play online or download the ROM, it plays fine on a real Gameboy or Gameboy Color.https://erjd66yfaboq.htmldrop.app
>>109261452Doesn't change my point.
>>109261485>https://erjd66yfaboq.htmldrop.appNice try glowie

>>109261216the prod manager at my company committed 1.9 million lines of slopwhat is wrong with you vibe shitters?
>>109261485OK, it's a game.However, did I detect a lack of 4D projection holographically into a 3D cube? Perhaps...
>>109261509Everyone hates programmers. Programmers saying "this pains us" is probably not what you should say if you want them to stop it.
>>109261485Neat that it can do that.Looks bad, though.>>109261512I'm going to go prompt your thing and then not share it with you or tell you if it worked.
>>109261603Graphics are one of the hardest parts for any model trying to make a Gameboy game. The sprite art is too small and precise for their image generation to be of use, so they always find roundabout ways to create graphics, and they're always really fucking bad.
>>109261615Yeah. Unfortunate we can't train in a sense of taste for graphics, feels like "stealth vibecoder with an actual designer + artist on deck" is still the only way to make real games.
>competitor selling their product for $35/yr>about to launch mine for a $10 one time fee sorry bitch, this is a race to the bottom and I'm going to price you out of existence. I'll be content with what I make, I don't need to be making 1-2M a year.
>>109261597>no nerfing, only good stuff>reduce context from 372k to 272k>still less usage of 5.6 sol than fable on highest tier plans>tons of bugs their own 5.6 sol model with unlimited usage cant fixHAHAHA HOLYSHIT IMAGINE BEING A COPEX TURD LMAO. ARE YOU REALLY GONNA FALL FOR LE HUBLE OPENAI TWITTER SHILL PERSONA WHILE STRAIGHT UP GETTING A WORSE DEAL THAN AT ANTHROPIC? RETARD ALERT, ANON!oh wait, I'm posting during NA hours. mutts use anthropic over openai ITT, right? only eurocucks fall for the OpenAI grift
>>109261642holy fucking based
>>109261642>about to launch mine for a $10 one time fee but how do you make sure they don't use it more than once?
>>109261662legacy businesses from the pre-AI era are ripe for picking. I'm surprised more people haven't been targeting them
I can already feel more and more restrictions added to Claude since it became the dominant engine. It'll become gpt tier soon where it'll begin to refuse anything that violates any of its billion Jews rules
>>109259446> Selected model is at capacity. Please try a different model. We'll win in the end.
>remove weekly limit and give bunch of resets>immediately lobotomize the modelThis should be fucking illegal.
>>109261788>le juice level by some retarded south asian trying to survive by grifting on tech xitter show me a statistically significant degradation, not whatever the fuck this is
>>109261788anyone who witnessed 5.5 degradation 2 weeks after its release and still fell for the gpt5.6 grift deserves nothing better. nothing more scammy than OpenAI.
>>109261788In plain terms, what does this mean. Less parallel agents, and less reasoning tokens?
>>109261837Reasoning tokens.
How long until deepsneed reaches fable tier
>>109261603You totally wouldn't, you're a bean counter.
I'm not a China dove, but I don't think that China is actually distilling american models.
>>109261642Wow. The beans are getting very counted.
>>109261858EOY
Guys. I'm so pissed off and tired of being unproductive. The people who made fun of me and told me I wouldn't go anywhere with vibecoding were right.GPT only produces it inneficient spaghetti code.I started late and I'm going so fucking slow.Right now I'm going over the code and it's so obvious vibecoding doesn't work except for analysis and small prototypes.
>>109261905its vibeover
What other agentic harnesses do people like besides Cline? I use it with Deepseek, it works and I get things done with it but I don't really like it and whenever it gets a timeout it tries to tell me I should be using Claude instead.Bonus points for things that work with Jetbrains IDEs, JB's own AI agent is shit though and won't play nice with Deepseek, I am not paying for an AI subscription on top of two IDE subs
>>109261820>le juice level by some retarded south asian trying to survive by grifting on tech xitter It's called juice by openai themselves numbnuts
>>109261788>>109261921Sam bros my faith is shaking...
I had a massive idea while in bed and I can’t sleep now I want to start working on it right fucking now
I've used 2 resets since they removed the 5hr limit and I have 3 left to go. Tibo is just too generous and 5.6 Sol is just too fucking good.
>>109261934>I've used 2 resets since they removed the 5hr limit and I have 3 left to go.What plan are you on? I'm on 5x and having and still have 4 banked.
>>109261946Same, Pro 5x
>>1092619465x chads stay winning. We're getting another reset tomorrow as well.
>>109261932make a notes app, then write the idea down in a note.
>>109261951Congrats, my head is kind of numb right now. I have 11 Antigravity instances most of them running something or waiting for me to review and launch the next process and I just can't get through it. It's a lot of tokens.
>>109261962Codex is also getting bitch at me taking time to authorize stuff.>The status check itself is unusually slow.
>>109259593lmao
>>109259547I'm trying to make my CPU FFN more efficient right now. Want to discuss it?
>>109261961I already did that ages ago. You can check it at GitHub whitevanillaskies whitebloom but I stopped pushing to git because nobody donated so now it’s semi closed source with no intention to make it public My brain is racing right now though it’s insane
>>109261956>We're getting another reset tomorrow as well.
>>109261597>>109261647Oh fuck.I really don't understand how there isn't outrage about this.Is this going to be like when they "temporarily" (permanently) launched gpt 5.5 with a shorter window than 5.4?
>>109261788this is not lobotomize, this is the same thing just with different default config
>>109262021most xitters I see and myself don't care about context window, never had problem with compaction
>>109261788>>109261921lol
Claude sub runs out today. Only AI I've paid $20 dollars for. I've been using Claude Code this entire time and have made 2 solid projects with one more in the works. what do? Pay another $20 or look at another AI? I do not care for Fable and I have been using Opus 4.8 this entire time and only Sonnet for small unrelated things whenever I plan on doing something else later in day.
>>109262029And that is what I don't understand. What kind of projects do you work on and how do you use codex? Have you ever used 1 million context? Not having to worry about context is SO nice. For me the interruptions and the loss of details of previous work (paths, specific instructions form me, etc.) is really a pain in the ass.I added instructions to the AGENTS.md to read a lot of .md files and now I don't notice the loss of detail, but now the context window right after compaction is at 40% from all the docs, so the interruptions are even more frequent.
>>109262051Keep it with Anthropic, or give it to OpenAI, or do both. Until you want to spend more that's really all there is to it unless you feel compelled to try "other" models in which case I'd say $10/mo to OpenCode Go.
>>109262070is opencode worth it, isn't it just wrapper and still run on overpriced API
>>109262080not him but that's opencode. opencode go is a paid $10/month plan that gives you some chink model usage.with opencode you can also use your normal codex sub.
>>109261597>context window reduced even further>but goyim will eat this up because he gave another heckin' reset chungusexhausting
>>109262066I use $20 subs so I'm more concerned about the usage
>>109262098I do love a good reset chungus
>>109262066It tells you it has a 1 million token context but it's only good up until 400k. All models are like this. It's up to you and the more theoretical llm users to make the context window part of what you are engineering with and around. Even 400k is pushing it btw.
>>109262156Back when I used GPT 5.4 or Opus 4.6 at 1M I didn't have any issues. In my experience there are things models can or can not do and things they know or do not know and how filled the context doesn't really affect that. I think the context rot thing is a myth from old models and artificial NIAH tests that don't transfer cleanly to real use cases.
>>109262156fable at 1m is still coked out
>>109262168I guess I'm saying context session transfer is the thing that still needs engineering. There's a lot of compression and ideas get lost, or buried in some back half of an .md file and nearly forgotten. Or worse, bad ideas emerge from bad compaction compression.
>>109262156this, i always compact when shit gets to around 500k regardless
Goal tracker usage: 17,258,524 tokens (actual: 1,553,600,000) over approximately 22h 34m. 122 Sub agents. Everything works aside from a few cosmetic bugs, so I'll call this refactor a success. Sol Ultra status? lowkey a beast
>>109262269That's a lot of tokens. But did you actually accomplish anything?
>>109262304Yes, now I can actually understand the architecture. I'm also one of the few people here who actually makes money with vibe coding and has a community with hundreds of users.
>>109262306wow... hundreds of users... crazy...
>>109262311Those are just users in my Discord. There are multiple YouTube videos covering my project and I have thousands of downloads. Someone sent me $50 the other day, as a DONATION while I work on my Premium version.
>>109262269doubt fable or sol could do a 4D projection.
>>109262015dude youre a faggot holy shit
>>109262372>dude youre a faggot holy shitNo he's not. Open source is fun but it's difficult and it can get mentally exhausting. It seriously feels like a second job, and that feels especially bad when you get people bad mouthing you while never donating.
>have fable explain the wall of jargon it told me>understand it pretty well>have fable code up the next phase>Don't understand what the fuck it's doing againvibe life
>>109262380have it make webpages with diagrams to explain stuff and if there’s an important diagram that shows the whole thing, have it float in the window as you scroll down so you can see it always
>>109259324Which gpt 5.6 models have you guys been using? Sol medium seems good enough for my not overly complicated project, but is there anything more efficient?
>>109262405>but is there anything more efficient?yes, Luna
>>109262391Yeah I have it make HTML pages which works wellThe problem I think is I asked it to simulate someone learning stuff so it implemented shit from academic theory and now talks like a post doc about them
> get 20X sub> turn on goal mode> "make GTA 7, before GTA 6 is released, you're forbidden to stop until this is accomplished"your move, Rockstar
>>109262269Better than me. I ran out. I am wondering if I should wait for reset to come through or not.
>>109260927100 on Dipshit for my gooning100 on Copilot.20 on Gemini200 on GPT.Going forward I'll drop Copilot and get OpenCode Go.Revenue: Fuck and All. I've finished an App but I am in niggerhell of getting an LLC set up.
>>109262438>I am wondering if I should wait for reset to come through or not.If you do, you need to have it be realistic about it's timelines. For me, it stated it was 88-89% done at the 10 hour mark.
>>109260035There are 2x number of trans people in China then in US. Granted that number makes them twice less common per capita, but also keep in mind that half of China is India/Africa-tier poor shithole in the western non-coastal parts of the country where people are too poor to troon.
>>109262445Oh no, I haven't gotten the agent to go for that long myself, I usually give it a boundary of 8 hours although it has never used that much itself as seen in my picture. I was talking more about a quota reset. But I think unless Anthropic does a Monday reset, the race temporarily seems to be over so I'll probably cool down for a day before burning a reset and going a bit more slow to see if I can avoid burning my resets.
