>THIS NEW PROMPTING TECHNIQUE JUST DROPPED>YOU HAVE TO RESTRUCTURE YOUR WORK PROCESS why are AI bros like this?
hahahah no hate though I actually love that guy
workflow, nigga
>Aaaaaahh this machine does all my work for me but I have to spend some time to configure it properly I’m literally going insane
>>109280715why are all aibros soidevs? i thought those fags would be more luddite.
>>109280783It doesn’t get much more soi than a Luddite. They literally believe data centers are going to use up all the water & kill everyone
>>109280805literally every single ai bro i've seen looks like he watches his wife getting fucked by tyrone so idk.
>>109280783The silicon valley effect
>>109280812thats not a nice thing to comment
>>109280715I mean, it's fair to say that AI is new and constantly evolving, so people are still figuring out new and better ways to use it.That being said, every time I've tried one of these new meme workflows, it just seems like an insane token burner that wastes your time with a lot of performative nonsense that doesn't actually provide better results (but which trick soidevs into thinking they're doing heckin proppa software engineering because they're letting the AI mimic a normal software dev workflow, scaled across a bunch of subagents). Once you get into highly parallelized meme workflows, you quickly scale past the point where the sheer amount of code being shat out is far too much for a single person to review, anyway, and if you've gotten to the point where you're blindly trusting AI code reviews, you're too far gone.
>>109280715Is this what using AI is like? Just learning how to talk to it? So instead of training AI to understand us naturally, we're training people on how to talk to AI.
>>109281248it's indeed interesting how seemingly experienced devs fall for this shit.Though it's not even an ai thing, i remember working with a clean code cultists who loved making a bunch of one line methods lol
>
>>109281727they do be
these are the type of guys who spend 99% of time fine tuning their workflow and never actually finish anything
>THIS NEW ALCHEMY FORMULA JUST DROPPED>YOU HAVE TO REFORMULATE YOUR DISTILLATION PROCESSwhy are alchemy bros like this
>>109282282this feels like return to how ancient scholars did studies. Everyone had their secret esoteric methods and forbidden knowledge
>>109282315>new khemeia homunculus drops>jebir claims they made it>prompt it to identify its formulator>its trismigestusShould have known
>>109281727'jak him
>>109280779"work" is very loosely defined. these machines are certainly outputting a lot of text and maybe if you spend a lot of time configuring the trial and error loops you can even get something useful out of itmeanwhile, I can just do actual work myself and know that my output is useful because I'm not that good at psychography
>>109282563you just need to structure your context properly thats why its not adapting to your workflow
I really dont care.Listening to "AIbros" is like listening to vaxtards during COVID.
>>109280812how many AI guys you watching?
>>109282563fucken based
>>109284750All of them. I get my AI agent to manage AI sub-agents to monitor and profile AIbro activity on the net. My AI agent gives an average "likes to watch his wife star in bestiality porn with extra steps" index of an average AIBro at 98.33%. Repeating, of course.
>>109280715I feel like they're the kind of people who are "deeply passionate" about their work, but not in the sense of actually doing it, only in the sense of wasting time on optimizing their "productivity" instead.
>>109284913gay
>>109280783its the opposite, soidev nerds are all ludites. chads who just went into tech for the money are all AI-pilled
>>109280715because it makes normie views which translate to money.god the internet has only been downhill since ad monetization.
>>109280715If you aren't like this you're stealing from your boss.
>>109285157nah that guy is definitelly stealing his bosses cum wirh his mouth
>>109282251/thread
>>109280715
>>109280715Kek this guy actually has good takes but yeah it's clickbait with the THIS ONE NEW PROMPT WILL CHANGE YOUR LIFE AND BLOW YOUR LOAD
>>109285322Cousin to get excited for next products guySomething this reminds me of is game modding, specifically anything requiring an importer exporter. Skyrim only ever had one guy working on the nif plug-ins regularly, but something that annoyed the shit out of me was people who would give up trying to mod after realizing it was not a low effort, or fast process. They'd always beg for a new exporter plugin when a new version of 3ds max came out, and the guy maintaining it would maybe release one update to fix bugs every 8-10 months. His notes and tutorials always suggested sticking with the version the plugin was made for, but without fail there were always 3-5 goobers a week begging for new version because something something 3ds max is better due to bigger number. The process to mod never changed, none of the renderers were required, you used like 2% of all functions in that program to make a model, but it was always funny to see a guy asking for a new one, even after Autodesk went and made their shitty programs all subscription based. Every retard who said it was impossible to use old versions never setup a VM and installed the legacy trial versions which didn't require networking.
>now it outputs garbage 49.999% of the time instead of 50%
>>109280715For me it's how vibetards seriously use skill.md when in reality it's just character card coomers have been using to goon to for years LMAO
>>109285648coomers are really at the forefront of innovation kek
>>109280715i specifically refuse to watch AI bro videos as they are all just clickbait garbage, if there is a "works harder" hack, its not free, and OpenAI will patch it in secondsthere was a hack you could do to say you will pay it for better solution like a year ago, did absolutely nothing
to be fair you need a fair degree of skill to tell chatgpt to "please do thing and make no mistakes", it's almost as advanced as learning to code, use 3d modelling software or flying a jet aircraft
>>109280715They drank the over/underclass kool-aid and believe that being ahead in AI will make a difference for them.
>>109280812That is how IT people are. Why are you on a fucking IT board? Kill yourself.
