>right click>context menu takes 15 seconds to appear
>>109282384Because you aren't pure of heart
>>109282384skill issue
The right click once failed in cursor/vscode because a request failedThrew that shit away asap
>>109282428Yeah, if microsoft had skilled programmers, that wouldn't be a thing.
latest version actually feels snappier than 24h2 ltscbut i didn't do any nuclear tweaks™ this time so maybe thats why
>>109282384>file explorer takes ten gorillion years loading all the telemetry and AI assistant before showing anythingjust start over at 98 or some shit
>>10928254398 is DOS ridden. You want to do something windows NT.
>>109282384Sorry but your ancient thinkpad is not enough anymore
I went back to W10 Pro last week and it is fucking insane. Maybe a few years ago you could hedge some benefits for W11 but that is so fucking over. Night and mother fucking day. Linux from here most likely, W10 for now.
you don't need to exaggerate. that it takes more than a single frame* is enough.
>>109282570What's the gains? if you will sacrifice performance like this, there must be a gain for it, an equivalent exchange, a reason for the slowness.
>>109282384That is not an exaggeration if you're on HDD. And yet you can do HDD and use win7 with basically no problem, run basically the same software, but older versions, pre cloud nonsense and you'll be fine.Name one piece of non cloud tied software that you need and that is not available on win7. You can't.
>>109282696Gains for whom? Windows is literally malware now, it only exists to extract value from its users. Nothing they do is meant to attract new customers or compete in the OS market, at least, not fot individual user tier customers.
>>109282384signs of a shitty system. get a new one.
>>109282482Nudella wouldn't be doing the needful for his people if that was the case.
>>109282570It's enough for an OS programmed by human beings.
>>109283080That's my point. It's always "you're poor/you need better hardware", but there's neve any advantage, it's never a "look at all the nice stuffs i have you don't because my machine is faster".
>>1092831049955hx 64gb
>>109283104How does it improve the right click menu?If you're using more processing, it must do something better right? 15 seconds on a modern computer should give you some amazing new features right?Go on, list em.
>>109283155It is in the core nature of jeets to blame others for their own ignorance.
>>109282384
>>109282384Revert to the normal context menus via registry.
30% of Windows 11 is literally written by ai.
>>109282384>reg.exe add "HKCU\Software\Classes\CLSID\{86ca1aa0-34aa-4e8b-a509-50c905bae2a2}\InprocServer32" /f /ve>context menu loads in 0.01 secondsIt's ridiculous that Microsoft has a guide to fix this on their own site: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/answers/questions/2287432/(article)-restore-old-right-click-context-menu-in
>>109282643I never upgraded. TPM module disabled since just before W11 released. I'm forced to use it on my work laptop and that's more than enough to convince me to never re-enable TPM.
>>109284019I mean, the same % is valid for Linux too.>inb4And it's probably even worse for DEs, init systems and display servers especially the more popular ones which most of you posers use anyway.
>>109282384This is the power of react native. Please understand. V8 needs to parse the JS, build an AST, analyze it, then try to compile it to like 8 differently optimized versions of native machine code before it can finally execute it. It doesn't look as bad as it really is on (((benchmarks))), especially since on those benchmarks, they usually let the engine (((warm up))) which just hides where the true cost of JS engines lies nowadays. The code monkeys of today could never replicate Windows 95. They could never make an OS that runs nearly as smooth on ancient hardware like that.
>>109282384shiet, i just used rufus to force an update.what am i in for bros?
>>109284756Isn’t windows UI C++ still?
Winaero tweaker has a option to reduce the context menu popout to 0ms
>>109282513Because they now boost the CPU clock speed when you right click.
>>109285085No.The new UI is mostly written in C# with some components like the start menu written in web technologies using React Native.
>>109283787
>>109282384>saar fix OS you bloody bastardTry not using a computer made in the last current century, Raj.
>>109282384Only OS you have to do more tinkering with than BSD to get running properly on modern hardware.
>>109285352Yeah no. It's just fundamentally broken (on top of being the computing equivalent of a jeet /paki rapist). Good luck with whatever game you're playing. Dumb mudskin.
>>109282384Try not installing it in a 15-year-old hard drive. That said, Windows sucks
>>109282696There are gains. Just not for goyim, but for Kikesoft
>>109282570>Always thinks about thinkpads instead of Compaqs, HP pavilion, Dell optiplex desktops, Sony Vaiookay zoomer.
>>109282384Why is the context menu worthless now? What fucking retard thought properties should be hidden? At least make the context menu customizable you faggits. Would take like 20 minutes to implement.
>>109282384just MumbaiSoft things, you wouldn't get it
>>109282384>Open file explorer on fresh boot, updated>File explorer crashes
>>109282384Really? I was about to upgrade too. Gonna test it on me mams laptop shortly see if you're lying.
>>109286500Just install ubuntu
>>109282384Yeah, but it only took a small army of H1B wageslaves a couple of months to vibecode it.
