Why can I not search for my files when uploading a file on linux? I can search when using the file manager, but not when uploading. This seems like a major flaw because you have to find your file in order to upload it. Tested KDE xfce and TDE but none of them allowed me to search for my files in a file uploading prompt. Works just fine on windows so I am confused as to why nobody has ever bothered to implement this into any DE.

Thunar: Edit/Preferences/Shortcuts/"Search for Files..." set keybinding if not set.

Right but that only searches for files in the current folder, rather than also applying to subfolders.
