just use kraken and transfer to local wallet. The glowies know you have monero, boo hoo. They can't track what you buy with it.

I use monero to buy estrogen.
>>
>>109311065
If you're only trying to on-ramp into monero, it's much better to buy a "normal" coin like bitcoin or litecoin on a central exchange like Kraken, then use CakeWallet to do a swap from the normal coin into monero. That way the KYC info youre forced to provide to the central exchange isn't associated with monero at all.
Sure it's only one or two chain-hops detached, but that's still enough to harden the plausible deniability case.
>>
>>109311098
true, if you're caught with something illegal they can say to a jury you probably used the monero to buy it.

I finally went with this. Kraken to buy monero then withdraw/transfer to cake wallet. Its the swiftest way to actually have monero to spend without doing the trade/swap into monero method. I realize its less untraceable but as soon as it hits cake wallet I should be invisible. I'm not buying harcore drugs or anything in bulk quantities so the police would have to be extremely bored to fuck with me just to give me like 30 days in jail or some shit which they would still need to take me to court just to even prove it.
>>
>>109297754

The time is not there yet when it will become indispensable, wait until CBDCs will be voluntarily forced down our throats and stores will be punished for accepting cash. I think we'll start hearing "I only accept monero" more often. This works especially well for big money movements, as the more CBDC gain ground and cash disappears the more the underworld is forced to switch to some other medium of exchange.
It will even be mined by three-letter agencies at a much larger scale to have means of trade with the underworld.

This is, of course, assuming monero survives the attacks against it.

TradeOrge was so good, but glowniggers got to it. Ever since I found it more convenient to first buy BTC, send it to cake wallet, and buy XMR there (although at an acceptable but somewhat unpleasant fee). I don't remember the last time I tried to use Haveno, but I believe it requires you to first deposit some XMR as an assurance of payment anyway, some (all?) orders require that your account already has a certain % of the sum of money being traded in the total order.

Ignore the CakeWallet Jews. There's no reason to use that shit app besides padding the pockets of the fat Indian that owns it. They shill everywhere. Their trademark is telling you to use litecoin and CakeWallet.

Feather is the best wallet. Monerujo if you need mobile. Swap wherever it's cheapest (I've found exolix works if you really need a suggestion). BTC is usually the cheapest coin to buy and swap - those homos parroting the CakeWallet script are stuck in the days when BTC had high fees and even then it was probably untrue. It might be faster but lightning network is also fast but can have problems.

As for "associating KYC with Monero purchases". There's no problem with that in the first place. And do you think they can't see you swapping coins with CakeWallet? Why are you buying XMR in a roundabout and extra suspicious way when it's right there cheaper and easier? "Plausible deniability" yeah right, what's the plausible explanation for being a suspicious freak? "Uhh, the shills told me I should"
>>
>>109347021
>"Plausible deniability" yeah right,
This, has there ever been a case where LE went extra hard on someone because they bought some Monero from an exchange (Kraken,Coinbase), I would guaranteed there is more scrutiny on Bitcoin being done than Monero.

It's retarded glowniggers attempting to make untrackable purchases automatically associated with illegal purchases rather than privacy. Attempting to allow guilt by association, which will prevent any form of actual adoption.
>>
>>109347021
>Ignore the CakeWallet Jews. There's no reason to use that shit app
The reason is that it #JustWorks
>Feather is the best wallet
On desktop, yes. On Mobile no.
>are stuck in the days when BTC had high fees
BTC still has high fees. $0.40 is a huge unnecessary fee when you're transferring any less than $100, plus the block confirmations take 10minutes, which is glacial pace compared to other crypto.
But sure, yon't have to use LTC, BTC does works fine and has the highest swap liquidity.
>but lightning network
Yea, ok now I know you're just trolling.
>do you think they can't see you swapping coins
From the Exchange's POV there isn't any guarantee that the wallet where the withdrawal was sent is still owned by the exchange customer whose KYC info they have. A user could just as easily be paying a third-party by withdrawing from the exchange directly to someone else's wallet.
If this "third party" goes on to send their coins to a known swap exchange address, then that isn't any of the exchange's business + the details of the swap itself aren't made visible to the exchange.
Sure, go ahead and buy monero under your own name and identity on a centralized exchange if you want. I'll continue to pay 1% more to have a completely untraceable stack that the government entirely doesn't know about.

in short summary, guy made a derivative of XMR he calls XMR1, made a Hyperliquid market on it (so the trading is decentralized), and then made a centralized bridge between XMR and XMR1. Wagyu is his little interface to essentially do ETH/BTC -> USDC -> XMR1 -> bridge to XMR

as you can imagine, that centralized bridge is a focal point where he can steal funds.

Basically, my reasoning here is that if I were to share these good services here on 4chan, there would be many malignant people who then go to these services and give the operators a hard time, etc. I don't mean to gatekeep what I know about, so, if you need something let me know what it is, and I'll see what I can do for you.

I know a lot of really good:
* File hosting providers
* Seedbox providers
* Usenet providers
* Hosted WordPress providers
* cPanel
* AI infra (way too many)
* SEO agencies
* a whole bunch of other shit.

I understand that argument for most services like that, but openmonero specifically is widely known the moment you look at somewhere like dread or monerica, and it's harder to apply to Decentralised open source Projects.

There are one or two things i haven't really found on those sources, here's an address, you should know how to use it.

Openmonero isn't really a service, it's a market. Markets work better when there are more people to trade with. It's currently a ghost town compared to what localmonero was. I didn't know it existed until now. More people need to know about it.

Crypto as a life changing investment is bullshit, yes. Crypto as a utility with certain trade offs isn't. Monero is set apart from other coins because it is a well-established p2p payment system for high stakes environments where getting traced could be catastrophic. Absolutely tech that should be taken seriously.

It has been delisted from almost every single major centralized exchange except Kraken, so the only way to buy it is to either:
- find someone IRL who already has monero and buy it from them for cash/gold/silver/trade, etc.
- buy a different crypto currency, then use a swap-provider to swap that currency into monero
- mine it yourself
>where do I store it
In a crypto currency wallet.
On desktop PCs: FeatherWallet, monero cli, or MoneroGUI

>>

Not that, I'm assuming that Monero or any other crypto's blockchain size increase rate can outpace innovations if they reach a non-niche point of popularity. This technology doesn't really seem scalable.

The whole point is there is a non-violable ledger of all your transactions that can never ever be changed.

crypto is and will always be the opposite of anonymous.
>>
>>109494759
>reach a non-niche point of popularity
That's not something worth worrying about. Crypto will forever remain a niche tech. But there are several proposals for Monero payment channels should they ever become necessary, which isn't expected.
>>
>>109494821
That's not true when it comes to Monero. It was purpose built to solve the very problem you describe. Please read the whitepaper.

You buy bitcoin on the record. You transfer it to XMR and it becomes anonymous with age. That's the entire modern day on ramp/off ramp system. It's that simple.

Literally no evidence of that. We do however, have evidence of it splitting the community and therefore the eyes on each project into two camps.
They didn't want to play nice and help the existing developers so they went off and did their own thing and created a redundant rewrite, helping nobody.
