The web is really starting to disgust me, you know it's bad when 4chan is unironically one of the best places to be.
>>
who thought porn would be a good idea on a communication network meant for education and war
>>
>>109305211
I really don't like the corporate nature of it all, and """""""AI""""""" has really made it much worse
>>
>>109305200
the broader internet isn't meant for you. it was hand crafted for nappy haired mulattoe teenagers with a cracked screen'd cricket wireless eye foams. it was engineered with pakistanis and indians in mind. every annoyance is a carefully designed feature, ones facilitates ease of use for sub 60 IQ south and central americans.
>>
>>109305223
I was not able to properly put my annoyances into words, but you have done so perfectly.

4chan has always been one of the least worse places, it might be a lot worse than it was in its early days, but it's still better than the rest of the mainstream internet.

>IT GOTS DA INFINITE SCROLLIN NIBBAAAAAAAAA

I haven't been on reddit in a while, but with the way anons have been posting lately, I might give it another try

I have no idea why I keep browsing this shithole

It all comes out of the same slop pipe no matter what toilet it falls into. If it wasn't the web it would be the radio.
>>
The only way this gets fixed is a full reset
Do your part anon, spread as much slop as you can

>no personalized ads
>no manipulative algorithms
>no accounts
>no endless scroll
>no app
>extremely anti-video
>annoying captchas stop you

this is one of the healthiest sites in existence.
>>
>>109307150
I deleted all my accounts and wrote it off for good.
>>
>>109307150
reddit is worse. it's more toxic than this site. the internet is not for smart people anymore.
>>
>>109308070
hiroshima would nuke all those onto 1/2chan if he wasn't tech illiterate
>>
>>109307150
reddit is similar you're just not allowed to say what you want and you'll get blocked by most people if you disagree with them or don't go along with the herd. It's basically useless now, AI outperforms all answers and the social aspect of reddit is massively female coded where consensus is law and anyone outside the consensus gets a ban/block/IP block/deleted/etc. I got banned from my countries subreddit because I said I was not going to fill out the census. Got banned from my local area subreddit for talking about our electric company scamming residents, got banned from /r/privacy for mentioning privacy based OSs. Been blocked by dozens of people for pointing out where they're wrong or lying.

AI is more useful and fruitful than reddit at this point unless you just wanna scrrooooll which is now it's primary purpose.
>>
>>109305200
Oh hands down. Iunno how anyone can browse anything else. When 4chan went down for those 2 weeks last year it became extremely apparent
>>
>>109305200
Such irony that frogposters are the worst shits on 4chan.

Many are saying this unironically
>>
>>109309075
That brief span of time without 4chan really showed just how useless it is trying to discuss anything elsewhere. Very double-edged sword.
>>
>>109305200
same, the corporate nature sucks so hard. Everything has to be castrated and be profitable and non-offending. It was much more fun when third worldlers didn't have access, the internet was like the wild west and people had their own websites and forums. I hope it all collapses somehow
>>
>>109310000
Nice quants

And yes it's just so obvious especially on f****** Reddit man that's one of the worst places if you don't go along with the herd you are literally banned and what's the point of like the like upvote and downvote system if you're not allowed to say anything that doesn't just accumulate up votes. Its porbably the most totalitarian lack of free speech place on the web atm
>>
>>109305223
ok, everyone and their mothers made this diagnosis ages ago
what is the alternative, though?
>>
>>109307150
there are hags on reddit falling in love with ai, that tells you something

Probably a return to something with a high celling of technical acumen to access it, so my guess are people going to BBS servers and Usenet. Until AOL gave people access to Usenet back in the day you had to be a supernerd to access it. And even then, a significant portion of people still didn't own desktop computers in the early 90s.

>>109307150

The entire ecosystem of the Reddit platform evolved from a tight-knit web forum in the 2010s into its present, post IPO form, which is 0 massive, algorithmically driven content aggregator designed to keep people scrolling. I still miss the bit of joy reading crazy stories and seeing a random account post an imgur link to a JPEG of a speedpainted version of the post.
>>
>>109307150
r/technology is better for actual tech news, but worse for commenting. No one does Twitter screenshot posts. Half the threads aren't about trannies. Weird.
>>
>>109305200
I wonder if the problem is corporate slop and all of that or if the population is just too stupid now
>>
>>109315152
>high ceiling of technical acumen
unfortunately we need an additional filter for the dubious high-technical acumen group we all know.
>>
>>109305200
