i'm 400% demoralized by the lora selection on civitai for krea2. 94% of the loras are either sloppy undercooked art styles, fake consistent ai characters and nasty and kinky porno concepts. is there a different place people are posting good shit?

I agree with you but with decent prompting and tuning lora strengths it actually not bad, but yes some lora's are just shit and trash the output. I think they are over trained and krea tends to lean heavy towards the bad input of low quality in those lora's with no much breathing room left over for it to actually applied a high quality finish. I think this is a great indicator of taste between people with money and people with no money.

When a model is too much VRAM to train (flux, krea, ideogram, etc.) the only people who can train are usually grifters or well off people who can afford runpods or a frontier GPU. Thus the shit selection of LoRAs.

I think that maybe it has a lot to do with civitai censorship really pissed a lot of people off and also maybe a little bit of gate keeping or holding back in the hope of generating buzz from those who are desperate for their favorite things being released as a lora.

As for the cost, surely it can't be that expensive to train a lora yourself, but I speak for myself living in a western country where it might only cost 3 crates of beer to rent a GPU and just have it done in a few hours. But its no excuse really because people should diverse in AI and start getting into agentic workflows using llm's, you can start local with that and see a budget and work towards increasing capital. It is hard work but in around 12 hours I can have even gemma 4 write me a functioning program and design and build an agent loop and from here it is self improving and model agnostic. This is how I now approach any problem i let the AI solve it, I could pay money to use some pre built system but nah, it far more rewarding to build my own.

TL;DR
if money is a problem then give it to the AI to solve it for you.

Don't just sit there and gen goon material all day every day, learn everything you can about AI.

Krea 2 can run on potato hardware (slowly) and generate photorealism and nudity better than z-image can. It can also be used as an edit model. It's not pose cucked like z-image, either, and can produce concepts better with poorer wording, making it super promptlet and turd world friendly.
