You don't understand how DDOS protection works. You can't "just block them" because your Internet connection physically can't handle processing all of the traffic it needs to block quickly enough.

It is very easy for big dark shadowy forces to take down sites they don't like when you don't have a network backbone capable of handling all of that.

You can't just block it. You need to clean it or redirect it elsewhere and the only way you can do that nowadays is if you're somebody like Cloudflare. Nobody else has the back network backbone to handle it.

I hope null figures out a workable permanent solution to this issue that other people can copy, then gets cancer right after.
