graphene os devs think that cloudflare is based.
GrapheneOS, despite being so security conscious, is extremely trusting of third-party service providers such as Google, and I guess now Cloudflare. They don't stop for a second to think that these privacy policies are utterly meaningless. Apparently big corpos snorting every bit of data they can get from you isn't a concern but you totally need a browser with 300 hardening patches compiled with CFI to avoid the skids in the Starbucks wifi.
just put a mullvad dns devbro
>>109330429>They don't stop for a second to think that these privacy policies are utterly meaningless.NOO MAN YOU HAVE TO TRUST THEM, THEY ARE THE GOOD GUYS!!
They aren't wrong
>>109330449I just wonder if cloudflare can do some spying/datamining, if so they must be swimming in cash
>>109330429graphene is controlled opposition.>Google: people dont trust us with their data, this is affecting sales, people are buying iOS devices because they are being advertised as completely private>Google: let's make a "secure" and "private" fork of our codebase that only works on our devices>Google: now make the spokesman be a schizo and block the OS from accessing banks and people will uninstall it and revert to our base OS and keep using Android forever
Just get it directly from the root servers.
>>109330454Not if you configure it properlyMost don'tThe most hilarious fuckup is when you can sit in between the origin and cloudflare, then you can become a nearly undetectable transparent proxy with full decryptthat's fucking hilarious
Didn't we already have the daily anti-GOS thread?
>>109330469anti goy thread kek
>>109330469probably, there's a group of people who legitimately are harassing the developer of this software, i don't know who they are but they deserve to get doxed themselves (obviously, cannot do this on 4can) but they really do. being able to attribute it to any one person or group is pretty hard, but that being said I think these things are worth being aware about, and probably just to remind everyone to engage with such threads as little as possible, if at all. because you can look in desuarchive, and see it for yourself.
>>109330491>pointing out weird stuff from the official grapheneos faq is "harassment"uh, ok.
>>109330504Go fuck yourself. There's nothing weird there.
>>109330506superior privacy policy. we must trust cloudflare because of their superior privacy policy. micay said so. this is the truth. don't question this. amen.
>>109330537Use tor, idiot.
>>109330543why isn't tor the default on grapheneos?
>>109330543We were talking about dns no?
>>109330550I don't know, okay? Stop asking so many questions and just trust the community. There's bound to be a good reason for it. Micay (pbuh) is never wrong.
>>109330387not what they said at all, kys
>>109330387oh man
>>109330457>>109330387I love how obvious it is that these threads are made by members of the intelligence community because they are seething they can't run a Cellbrite on a GrapheneOS device. The creator of GrapheneOS blew away the signing keys for his previous project CopperheadOS the very instant the Canadian DnD tried to infiltrate his organization via the former drug dealing CEO James Donaldson. One of the first and only requests by DND/CAF was to integrate B-Suite cipher suite into CopperheadOS, the very day he read what the CEO James Donaldson and his advisor Philip Roe were discussing he deleted all methods that could be used to taint CopperheadOS users, ie the signing keys and all update methods.Look to previous actions instead of FUD spread by Mossad/CIA kikes.
>>109330387i agree based on their shilling of google play but this is not it, still they should use quad9 or smth instead, cloudflare is cancer
>>109330429I'm so tired of load bearing retards.
>>109330543Just save yourself some money and sell your phone, since you won't be able to access anything over Tor. Ironically, due in large part to Cloudflare.
