something similar (but not quite) happened to me with music. ive spent the last 6 years since covid on my computer, and 90% of that time ive had headphones on listening to music. whenever it's quiet and im NOT listening to anything, i'll always start singing lyrics in my head from whatever new catchy song ive been listening to. never out loud, just in my head. non stop. ive caught myself doing it before bed, in the shower, while driving, while talking to people face to face. i legitimately cannot stop to this day and sometimes it drives me crazy
