I stopped using the real youtube website/app years ago and I seriously don't understand how people can still use it... Really it's incredible the amount of shit people can tolerate.

Youtube has become so heavy one could suspect malware.
But paying foolish customers might get banned for using ad-blockers and will get slower experience, perhaps another "premium ransom" to avoid the new ad-popups...

It's ironic that back when servers and high speed internet were expensive, youtube was free and ad-free.

the youtube frontends have had suspiciously few problems ever since they implemented SABR. yt-dlp, pipepipe, and freetube have all worked for weeks. about the only thing I get now is the occasional IP ban. wondering how long it will last.

Here are the filters to fix both of them if anyone also got that shit enabled;
