I need some advice. I have a business user I support that constantly blame us. I'm already stressed about one of this big project that has high visibility and she didn't want to do UAT. (fine whatever) so for some reason IM doing the fucking UAT for her. The other team did some testing and I'm not paying attention because fuck it I don't even give a shit anymore.
The consulting team driving this project is ON my fucking ass yesterday to move to prod and kept forcing me to do after hour changes. Everyone signed off and they're all like "MUST DO THE CHANGE TONIGHT TONIGHT TONIGHT" even though I never agreed to work after hours. I didn't want to cause shit so I did the production move after hours.
Business users are running into bugs which the sign off team is aware of but THIS FUCKING BITCH who didn't even do testing emails me, my boss, my boss boss, her boss, her boss boss and goes "WHY WAS THIS MOVED TO PROD? Kind regards :)"
Honestly I'm about 10 seconds away from telling this bitch to fucking kill herself and rage quitting but that's not a good idea. Should I just ignore the email and let whatever happen happen?

I dunno I wanna burn this place to the ground actually and this isn't just today, it's been brewing the whole past year since they fired the team mom.

I noticed things going south in april like minor budget pauses, manager going quiet about the next appraisal cycle etc. Everyone around me said i was being paranoid. Maybe I was but i decided if i was right, i wasn't going to start from zero on day one.

So for 3 months, my 2nd job has been my jobhunt: fixed my resume properly for the first time in 6 years. rebuilt my linkedin profile. Reconnected with old coworkers before i needed anything from them, just compliments on what they’ve been sharing. Started interviewing casually in june, saved upto 4 months of living expenses.

Yesterday morning: "your role has been impacted."

And the strangest thing happened. and i was not scared - i read the email twice, shut the laptop, and went for a walk because i already had two final rounds scheduled this week and a recruiter waiting on my availability for a third.

i'm not posting this to humblebrag. its that anything can happen anytime. if you see telltale signs, start prepping.
