>RAM and SSDs to double againGet me out of this nightmare...
>>109341819Stop being poor
>>109341819You can stop buying whenever you want
>>109341819Don't forget the good old HDDs!
>>109341819>tfw bought a 5090, 9800x3d w/ 128gb of ram the first month of 2026I just wish I got more than 8TB SSD though.
at this point, I'd suggest the same course of action as dealing with video game console scalpers. there is no diplomatic solution when consumers are explicitly cut out of the market with no recourse.
>>109342113pretty sure you could get this exact model for $150 at most last yearbeyond grim
Ridiculous. They really do want to make everyone more reliant on cloud storage.
>>109341819you don't understand. the datacenters NEED that hardware. for what? they just do, chud!
>>109341819>RAM and SSDs to double againwho cares. don't you already have working ones from years ago? I do. :)
i have 13 8tb wd reds am i winning?
>>109342371and what might that be?
>>109341819Says who? You shouldn't listen to shills and glowyim. It's all running on borrowed time.>>109343219DRAM jews need more money though. They're horribly impoverished because reasons. The GAy-I bullshit was the perfect pretense for RAM jews to jew people again.
China will ramp up production in two more weeks, just wait.
>>109341819Yuu VILL own NOSSINKAnd yuu VILL be happy!
>>109341819AI Companies: Ok, we built all these data centers and are now ready for business. Wait, where is everyone?Everyone else: Yeah, we can't afford computing devices anymore to use AI and could only afford a cheap flip phone now.
>>109341819catch 22>if u buy they will obsolete everything & develop newer better shi>if u don't buy the price will just keep going up until u die
>>109346006Oh that's very sad goy. Anyway subscribe to my service where you can dial this phone number and talk to GrokGPT. Only $29.99/month for 2 hours usage plan!
>>109341819I can buy parts for a PC twice as powerful as I would ever need as long as I avoid new, terribly optimized, 9th gen games for under 150$ on facebook marketplace. My previous build was 2012 parts and it is one of the strongest machines I have got and cost nothing.>>109346068miring
>>109341819If you own a car then PC parts feel quite affordable. The people complaining about pricing must be children.
>>109345064total scalper death
>>109346108you go buy car parts when they all get sold for x20 their original pricing for no reason other than greedat some point is no longer about the money
>>109346146If you kill the chinks that do RAM, no more RAM will be done, that's the whole trap.
Just bought 28 TB hard drives for a $1000 for both and I looked on my Amazon order list and I bought it 8 months ago and it was only $200 41Just bought 28 TB hard drives for a $1000 for both and I looked on my Amazon order list and I bought it 8 months ago and it was only $200 for one....
>>109342134you need to upgrade to a blackwell 6000 and a 9950x3d2

>>109342113>>109342380I used to be able to get these for 100 bucks a pop.... this fucking sucks man...atleast I managed to snag a 22tb hdd external for 250 a bit ago
>>109345948even if they do, america won't be seeing any of it
>>109341819We are in the bubble. Just wait. We know hardware companies are sitting on production.Either they'll get greedy and increase production, or the bubble will pop and demand will drop.
>>109341819korean government showers itself with more tax money. do not believe for one moment they are going to investigate their income generating cartel.only international pressure would.
I actually meet this super shady black dude who won't ever look me in the eyes to buy hard drives these days. Found him deep in Craigslist. His prices have only slightly raised since I'm assuming his method of acquisition doesn't cost him money. Gonna do one last round soon.
>>109341819I got mine, and that is what truly matters
>>109346709>I got mine, and that is what truly matters.Pic totally, definitely not related.
i can't believe im dropping over $600CAD on DDR5 ram.
friendly reminder that most of the parts that have been """""""""sold""""""""" by hardware manufacturers to hyperscalers have not and never will be deliveredit reminds me of shill bidding in auctions, except that the entire industry is doing it on a massive scale to price fix their products without any hardware ever changing any hands
>>109341828>>109342042>kikes who are happy to be price gouged to pay the Sam Altman tax I'm sick of you faggots simping for the memory cartel. when RAM is $1000/gb you'll still be here defending the so-called free market. for a cheap laugh now you're blind to the artificial reduction in supply to boost Samsung/SK/Micron profits. You're probably shareholders or paid shills painting opposition to memory price fixing as the plight of the poor but I got news for you kikes, normal people can't drop 10 thousand bucks on a pc every year or two. if you had any decency or mortality you'd oppose the memory cartel doing what cartels. instead you're doing what kikes do.
>>109346709>I got mineuntil it breaks, don't forget that part
>>109347258Oh fuck there's something I hadn't considered. I don't know why, as it's painfully obvious that it's engineered. The DRAM kikes were planning this a couple years back but if it were as serious as they made it out to be, then RAM would just be completely sold out, and this would've started back in 2023 when the first AI datacenters started going up.I think they're gonna get rugpulled even if there's no AI bubble because there wasn't "AI" back when they were doing this in 2001.There needs to be a meme that captures just how jewish DRAM and NAND flash really are.
>>109346614Not my problem. You voted for orange man now deal with it.
>>109347490The other way that this is potentially going to bite them in the ass is that the software industry will ultimately adapt to it and permanently lower demand. 4GB should be plenty to run an OS + browser + office suite. Memory requirements have only gotten so high because memory used to be cheap.
I guess I should really buy that 1tb SSD right now
