Too many indians. It's genuinely too late already.
Dumb whites hired indians in the beginning because their experience of indian culture was postcards. They saw the inflated credentials and cheap costs and went "Wow, what a deal!" completely oblivious to the fact that their credentials were all fake.
Once indians were in they reccomend more indians and more and more, and now it's all a bunch of indians who don't even know how to code.
>B-but Google money was going up this whole time!?!
No shit. That's what happens when the world gets more computers and a bigger population. Expansion was always going to happen, it's the collapse that wasn't necesarily gauranteed. Now they're going to implode down the line thanks to an overabundance of indians, and the only thing they'll do to remedy their current situation? Fire the competent people, hire more indians. Lol.

>LLMs have already plateau'd
Wishful thinking. They get better every few months, if anything it's accelerating. Only a year ago I was still getting it to generate one file at a time and manually checking, testing and integrating it. Now I just write a bunch of constraints, tell it to write tests, tell it to implement the program to pass the tests without changing them. I barely even read the code, I don't need to. I just need to check that the tests test everything important, and that they pass.

>>
>>109361667
>negative cash flow

>>
>>109363300
They did not, you're just not familiar with the terms.
Revenue: all the cash you generate from sales in your business
Profit: all that you get to keep after cost of the goods you sold, expenses and taxes.
Free cash flow: the amount of money that comes in from sales minus the amount of money that goes out during a timeframe. In this case, the timeframe is the quarter.
Google is literally still the most profitable company the world. What happened is that, in this quarter, they paid all their expenses, their taxes, then took their quarterly profit and 5 billion more from the 126 billion they have on hand and spent on building datacenters.

the personal 8 bit gemma 4 MoE I run with thinking is noticeably better than the best shit gpt4o was crapping out just last year. Ais are improving continuously. And I'm just an uber poorfag who can't do anything with good large models and agents and shit.
datasets are being cleaned up, training is improving, the architectures are continuously improving, love it or hate it this is only moving forwards. by this same time in 2030 the models that can run on a 12GB phone will compare to these top end things of today.

Look at it this way gpt4 was a 1.6Trillion model and we have things significantly better than it that are 1/50th the size.
They are still just tools though, word transformers. Your instructions are followed exactly as you put into it.

That being said, generally more debts also lead to a rapid loss of liquidity too.
If the revenue cannot rise enough, Google are officially fucked.

The fact that they didn't anticipate a free cash flow issue here is a bigger issue than a loss. Far bigger. Panic stations.
And this might dominoe globally. Welcome kids, we saw this in 2008.
Are you prepared for Mr Bones' wild ride?

2bh, a negative economy does lead to kids actually trying to study this shit and try to understand the problems, so there is that.
I know that personally.

Then they replaced them with indians that didn't know that shit and AI who just told them what they wanted to hear while probably actually understanding the real problem. They just literally cannot say it. That's malicious behaviour.

I also think web 2.0 will be brought to attention as a potential financial hazard.

copied from another thread i answered

let's hope google shit together asap i have not been working with google services for a few years 6 months ago they were top of the world.

Antigravity was devouring market share, google play dominant in android with a monopoly, people were getting big google subscriptions for the first time just for the AI thing and getting a whole bunch of services with them.

Since then they fucked antigravity, google play is not approving apps and charts have been broken for almost two months, antigravity limits went to shit you can't ask anything or you reach limit (yet they give free ai for every google search), and they lose the market monopoly in a trial (yet they keep fucking with google play own publishing system like not approving apps or charts not working).

Oh and i almost forgot how gemini was the top AI for image generation and very good at most things and then lost image generation because they added a censor layer above it that do not allow to generate anything with people and gemini got behind claude and open ai models, oh and i tried their hosting service and digital ocean and linode were like 10x faster and cheaper.

it's seriously crazy when you combine this with the fact they have negative cashflow for the first time in decades.

They still have a good base, good teams, good AI they can improve good methods even if mostly aimed at big companies but they must get their shit together asap.
>>
>>109366822
oh and i almost forgot they gave free youtube to 20 usd pro subscribers then they made a youtube lite thing that basically did not allowed anything with music to be premium (like wtf).

And i just realized notebook llm is marked as notebook llm in the top right corner while they changed the name like a month ago.

it's like parts of this company are no longer communicating with each other, they have good services but they are totally out of sync, android devs tell them charts are not working and new apps aprovals are stuck nobody listens, antigravity users tells them quotas have gone to shit and they say nothing but add ai to every search.

it's like they have 150 iq teams on each product but when things go wrong nobody upwards listen or do anything to get things in sync again, i seriously hope they get their shit together google can be a stabilizing factor between open ai & anthropic, not to mention android benefiting from vibe code app revolution can actually finally take over IOS in the first world (specially once apple realizes their shared memory system will have massive demand for desktop and they throw IOS phone market to shit to focus on that other market)
>>
>>109366738
it does not seems to be AI which is the problem as i pointed here

>>109366822
>>109366829
their products are out of sync, people wanted to buy ai subscription and instead they give them 2tb drive space but no quota for ai models then they add ai model to every google search.

Some services do not work or are broken and not being fixed, they rename a service but the interfaces still have the old name everywhere as if nobody gave a shit about updating it.

It's like motherfuckers have some of the smartest people on earth and suddenly nobody is coordinating them anymore.
>>

idk google is pretty big i do not know how long the market will allow them to shit the bed, they really are a stabilizing factor because they keep big companies away of smaller services that may be better like linode or digital ocean, they also would have put price pressures down on anthropic or openAI if they did not shit the bed.

They even had the most efficient AI chips as far as we know it's hard to understand why they are failing in some areas that badly suddenly.

Intel had great earnings, popped 14% to $114 after hours, fell flat during futures, then fell 10% the next few days to $91.

From like a meta level perspective it is even funnier. For lots of things software itself is the means in which to automate/augment things humans were doing via computers. AI under this idea is basically the be all end all. Like true proper AI. I don't think will ever happen. So ya the concept of trying to build it leading to the downfall is hilarious. Something like an Icarus/tower of babel concept for humanity.

Everyone always copies what I do and I'm deGoogling. Also getting rid of some other normie shit like Windows when I can. I don't think I can go without Uber though, it seems like the most seamless way to get a babe home, taxis are pretty ick, don't you have to call them? App is easier.

The most vocal whining about Xbox layoffs are the same ones who avoided everything Microsoft and Xbox for the past decade.

You forgot the part where the government loses one of their most valuable surveillance apparatuses.

Nobody on this site should be whining in the slightest about any of these horrible corporations getting economically assraped. They should only be cheering it on.
