>make a new song>people love it>mention it was made using Suno>they do a 180 and instantly hate itWhy are people so biased against AI generated music, even when it is great?
>>109364787>make
>>109364787>>people love itNo, they don't. I can always tell immediately. Most suno songs sound the same. I fucking hate when I get this slop in my autoplay.
>>109364787Post the song, coward.
>>109364787In an artistic medium people generally expect to see art, not just outputsArt being a synonym of passion, a computer will never have passion, as it will have never built themselves to learn and get good at something, it will have never had an internal drive to want to do it well, it will have never felt the desire to express anything. For the passion is in the journey toward the results, art is by definition the journey If you cannot tell the difference sociologically between art and "results" then that is telling of your personality (or neurodivergence)
We are Charlie Kirk is a banger thbqh

>>109364787Most people are just following what's trendy. They will even killer their mothers if it's fashionable.
Lots of people love man-made slop but that doesn't made it good. What exactly was it that made your machine slop great?
literally nobody says suno sounds good, it's the most artifacty, thin, shrill sounding garbage there is. and as a musician of quite a few years, i cant deny that it does have some good melodic ideas at times. it's just that its quality is pure and utter dogshit, and when you realize that the way it works is essentially like drawing a picture by hand from top left to bottom right like a printer, you realize why it cant ever sound goodit's a very advanced next sample predictor for audio. it's not simulating a human voicebox and throat, it's not simulating actual oscillators in a synthesizer or the way a kick or bass drum works
>>109364787Vibesloppers never share their works with us peasants, whether it be code or "songs", I wonder why?
>>109364974It will improve like crazy in a couple years.
>>109365005that still can't repair the flaws i mentioned at the end of my post. and i wouldnt count on it improving that rapidly. audio is incredibly complex. engineers still debate and find things out all the time. suno has been big for a couple years now and it still sounds like shit quality wise.
Most of it is dogshit but you'll find those same people listening to those city pop mixes by iridium beats and completely ignore the fact it's AI slop. Rightoid streamers tend to use these AI songs that sound like Sabaton but even more vomit inducing for whatever reason. Music is just a lot harder to get right than imagery through AI
>>109364787Suno did something that fucked it up. V4-4.5 was the best
>>109365243Yep. Made a couple bangers with both. Haven't used it since.>>109364974>>109365017Also true. What's even more annoying is when it randomly decides some instrument now has its phase inverted midway through the song for 0 fucking reason. It's like it's trying to do a bandpass sweep or something and halfway through gets drunk and forgets.Making it shit itself trying to force it to iterate on its own output is hilarious though.
>>109364787People are retarded, jsut keep creating until you win
>>109364823>>109364918>>109364974>people don't love it...>people generally expect...>literally nobody says...Unfortunately, these statements are incorrect, AI music is already charting in some places, so the unwashed mass of normie radio/spotify listeners are in fact fine with the content produced by Suno etc if they don't know it's AI.
>>109365292those headlines about ai artists charting are false. they use technically niche categories to top with less than a hundred thousand (botted) plays
>>109364787Most AI music is slop because the people generating it are more focused on quantity than quality but there are gems. The hate is just the usual "new thing bad" that happens with any new technology. I bet music snobs generations ago felt using machines to replicate instruments was the end of the music.

>>109364927This.We are Charlie Kirk was the best song of the past year
>>109364787>make someone a meal>they love it>mention some of the ingredients were moldy and covered in bugs, but that you personally don't mind>they do a 180 and instantly hate itIt's almost like there are more factors than just the first impression.
>>109365355>I bet music snobs generations ago felt using machines to replicate instruments was the end of the music.Much as I agree with this (same thing with photoshop, flash animations, digital cameras, etc) the skill gap here is more substantial and the amount of dogshit content being produced and regurgitated and having regurgitations of what's being regurgitated is a general nuisance in the end. We already have this without AI, abhorrent dogshit being consumed by the same people who will end up using AI to perpetuate this further at a greater scale.
>>109365329i've no doubt there are a lot of fake stories because it's good ragebait/society-these-days bait. however https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cK62ATSlbSc + https://open.spotify.com/track/5eh2pLJmBVjgtUzKl7Ambt this was on the radio incessantly for weeks and has 17M+40M plays on youtube+spotify.
>>109365482The Josh Fawaz song really shouldn't count. He automated the two most automated aspects of music making (drums and vocals) with novel tools.Using a drum machine doesn't make your song AI and neither does using voice sampling.

>>109364787>make a handmade gift for somebody>they love it>say that actually ot’s cheap garbage from temu>OMG WTF YOU SAID YOU LOVED IT??I wish misery upon you
>>109365358Not an argument
The reason they said they loved it the first time is because they were impressed that YOU made it. There is plenty of great music so the only thing impressive about a good song isn't how it sounds, it's the attribution of skill and talent. Your friend shows you something amazing they made and it's highly impressive. If you found out the effort you assumed they must have put into it is actually 0.01% as much as you thought, you will be disappointed.
>>109365355>I bet music snobs generations ago felt using machines to replicate instruments was the end of the music.it happened with the korg m1 and then it happened again when arranger/entertainer keyboards came out and evolved
I love Suno because it allows me to remix old 8-bit video games tunes that will never be remixed otherwise
>>109364823kek, sure you can anon
suno is too flamboyant for its own good, it just tries to cram as many changes into a song as it possibly can, its repulsive
>>109364787hating AI is trendy, just like hating Israel, the jews and MAGA.Let the time pass, they will find something new to hate, like the chuds.I hated the jews before it was cool and trendy.
>>109368023Uh... hating Jews has been "trendy" for all of human history bro.
