For some reason this seems to be super divine esoteric deep iceberg knowledge but Webp can also do lossless compression on PNG images, umigalaxy supports that too. On a related note it's a little depressing that it's taking humanity so long to move onto better image compression, JXL/AVIF should already be in widespread use by now but instead we have to settle with Webp.If you're too stupid to read picrel, JXL "wins" but Webp gets second place, AVIF third place, oxiPNG fourth place, and QOI fifth place.
