The recommendable solution to make Windows 11 usable again.
>>
>>109369821
have you tried uninstalling it, usually does the trick
>>
>>109369821
make it windows 7 with DirectX12 and chrome support.
>>
>>109369835

Imagine microsoft fucking it up so badly that you have to run a windows live messenger a-patch like on an entire os

Your powers of observation are serving you well.

New project idea. Who is with me?

You're in the wrong place. Here is where dreams come to die.

openshell + retrobar. Can make it windows 98 for all it matters
>>
>>109369821
What, a new start menu? The start menu is one of the least of my complaints. There is a lot you would have to fix to make Windows something I would use normally.
>>
>>109369821
xoblite + autohotkey? Win10 iot ltsc was the last one where you could replace the shell, but works well nevertheless.
>>
>>109369838
Chrome already works on win7
DX12 support is in progress, some games already work (but not with Intel graphics if you care about those)
>>
>>109372394
updates?

wdym updates
vxkex makes chromium (and electronslop) work for the most part, and there's another guy doing a wrapper that makes dx12 work (the d3d12on7 thing that Microsoft made)
there's also supermium if you want a browser that you download and it "just werk"

Can't make an OS you don't control truly usable.
>>
>>109369821
raphire debloater and delete all the retarded crap

>>109372394
I remember when Stallman of whomever at FSF sent a 1TB HDD to microsoft hoping they return it with the full Windows 7 source code

Kek, that's unbelievably retarded
Someone at Microshart just got a free hard drive and you get nothing in return. Thanks freetards

No thanks...

No thanks, I'm happy with Open Shell's
>>
>>109369821
heh, far manager there is doing very heavy lifting in "making windows usable".
>>
There is no solution. It's never been more over.
>>
Stop being a bitch, install LTSC, and/or run WinUtil. Win11 itself is a fine OS, and if the GUI part is what throws you off, there's StartAllBack, Open-Shell, RetroBar, Windhawk, or you could just stop being a bitch and use it as-is. The recent K2 updates made the start menu actually nice, as in you can set it to just show you all your programs and pins like it did on Win10, so the biggest pain point of that got fixed.
>>
I'm apparently lucky because all I do is install, remove the bloat, then use winutil and it all just werks for me
I don't have the issues most people complain about
Sure there's probably some privacy stuff I'm missing but no hardware or software is "private" in modernity

Install Gentoo
