would u get a brainchip
>>
>>109383310
>Meningitis

No thx
>>
do you think they'll make salt n vinegar brainchips?
>>
>>109383310
If it used TRS? Yeah
Usb? No
>>
>>109383396
Salt n pepper is for homosexuals. Every white straight man knows BBQ is the only acceptable option.
>>
>>109383310
absolutely, what could go wrong?
>>
>>109383310
looks painful and it would probably deliver unskippable brainrot ads straight into your visual cortex
>>
>>109383310
Use case?
>>
>>109383310
how many ads do I have to have in my dreams to pay it off?
>>
>>109383310
In a genuine White-Nationalist society, yes.
Here? No.
>>
>>109383310
No
>>
only if it kills me
>>
only if loli simulations are allowed

>>109386329
gooning unironically

hey, sleeptime computing would be dope though!
This is a beefbrain thread now.
>>
imagine gnubooting this thing and forcing a dopamine overdose
>>
>>109383310
I'd rather get a chip in my ass that applies electric shocks my prostate.
>>
>>109392574
just get a pacemaker installed in your butt then
>>
>>109383310
Not unless I knew it completely on both the software and hardware level AND only if I needed it to like; stop seizures or something similar.
>>
Fuck no.

Couldn't pay me to do this shit.
>>
>>109383396
I'm waiting for the cool ranch.
>>
>>109383310
1) If the procedure is safe and life long
2) Cheap enough
3) Gives super powers (direct vision/sound/mind control)
4) Input/output accessible via other devices

Neuralink is only there partially with 4, but it needs 10+ revision
>>
>>109395091
>Gives super powers (direct vision/sound/mind control)
finally 32 bit 192 khz flacs will pay off
>>
not before solving the jewish question
>>
>>109383310
The one thing cyberpunk was retarded about was needing to do a physical connection. Bluetooth nigga.
>>
>>109395322
Neuralink did that. But really, wire is good for huge data transfers. Bluetooth means you need to worry about battery/power/bandwidth/etc.
>>
>>109383310
If it's just an interface for a PC or a phone, yes. Everyone would, too, imagine never having to bother with touchscreens or keyboards and hotkeys again
>>
>>109383310
Yes if everyone else is doing it.
>>
>>109383310
maybe, once most of the fatal errors and crippling bugs have been worked though
>>
>>109383310
I already have a chip on mine. Oh wait that's my shoulder. kek.
>>
>>109395450
are you talking about wax?
>>
>>109395500
Not everyone has your crippling dandruff.
>>
>>109395500
the old saying is you have a chip on your shoulder.
>>
>>109395516
>>109395598
sorry my esl ass guys I though it was something about bill gates putting a chip via The 'ax
>>
>>109395655
I though...
>>
>>109383310
No, imagine if in few years non invasive BCI catches up or even progresses, The implant becomes obsolete and the benefit for a life risking surgery was for nothing
>>
>>109395135
kek
>>
IF YOU GET A CLOSED-SOURCE BRAINCHIP INSTALLED YOU DESERVE ALL THE HORRORS COMING TO YOU
>>
>>109383310
I am not a quadriplegic, so obviously not.
>>
>>109396081
non invasive BCIs are useless and will always be. Unless your brain lobotomizes itself to become a glorified transmitter, you are not going to be getting much useful information from the averaged activity of millions of neurons.
>>
firmware is likely vibecoded so no
>>
>>109383310
Worst case, I get medical complications or die.
Best case, it works properly and I eventually get targeted ads streamed directly into my brain.

No thanks.
>>
>>109383310
Lol, I don't even want to use a cellphone anymore. Imagine putting a chip in your brain
>>
>>109383310
what if you get semen in that hole?
having semen touching your brain is not supposed to happen
>>
>>109383310
Cellphones are already too much
>>
You will surely have a total privacy with brian chips.

I am 100% sure that in no point will (((they))) suddenly craft a law that allows them to tap into your brainchip and read data from it directly without your consent in order to extract your thoughts, memories or even raw data from all your senses (possibly live and remotely).

I am also sure that the chip will never be an attack vector of any sort for future hackers or AI systems.

Having a smartphone + internet embedded directly into your brain is sensible next step and will allow you to express your humanity better than ever.
>>
>>109383310
How safe is it, and why would I want it?
Like if I'm putting technology in the most important organ in my entire fucking body it better be worth the possible risks.
>>
>>109383310
Depends on actual functionality and maturity of the technology. I'd say give it a couple decades before they're common.
