Its why I wanted to reproduce the issue, because Im unclear why a mobile device is required for QRs. QR codes are just a type of encoding. Think of them like base64 or the other forms, that can take binary or not copy/pastable data and make it human readable. Unlike base encodings, QRs have a very limited "space" or size that they can correctly encode effectively. So their use cases are usually to share long links. Pic rel is current brainstorm of PQ key sharing using onionshare servers. Atm the PQKeychan hasnt been integrated with onionshare yet, so instead of bundling onionlinks and hashing those, it hashes the users identity (bundled required public PQ keys) then posts them on a database searchable by the hash. Users share the hash with others. Others lookup the hash and download the bundle, then rehash to verify the bundle is what was intended to be shared with them. Current implementation uses rentry.co / rentry.org, but ideally I want to replace that with a decentralized public DHT. I just have not found any good options yet. IPFS is the closes fit and will probably be the choice, but its not as accessible as I would like, and often much slower than Id like, also seems to have problems with tor. Something like a blockchain would be even better could side step the need for tor all together while providing enough privacy, but that too has no easy solution yet. So rentry is the placeholder atm

I love using these archive sites just to avoid clicking through the consent/legitimate interest crap. It's faster and I don't get tracking cookies.I know there's probably extensions for that, but I don't think they remove consent on legitimate interest
