I kust use steam for most stuff and lutris for everything else.

never heard of that thing before, I already have my wine with dxvk set up in firejail and everything works in it.

I use Faugus for games and bottles for other windows apps

Yes, I usually recommend it, because it just werks. But I personally just use Bottles, I like the stricter permissions out of the box, but that can be an issue for new users. My Setup is:
>Steam
For steam games lol
>Heroic Games Launcher
For GOG and Epic
>Bottles
For repacks and cracked games in general

Dev is busy doing 100 projects at the same time, so it's neglected.

I love it, it's so effortless to use though I can't really say it's my favorite launcher since I never used anything else for comparison. I don't remember what made me get Faugus over the other options considering when I started using Linux it was even less known compared to stuff like Bottles or Lutris than now. Sadly it recently switched to GTK4 which imo is way uglier.

Thanks for letting me know about this, the automatic fixes db is rad. You could probably get some milage out of integrating the underlying "UMU-Launcher" with bottles, for those bottles people. Seems cleaner than install scripts.
>>
I like Vermouth because it uses qt6

I use all three—heroic games launcher, faugus and lutris—interchangeably. did you get crimson desert to work? Still getting the steam api error

i reverse engineered a wine-like exe loader (not a wine fork tho) that was used for a few games on steam in the 2014 og steam machine days to make it load arbitrary exes alongside wined3d so i don't have to use these dumbfuck wineprefix programs anytime ever
