who will codetrans cope with next? who will reinforce their delusions?
>>
notch became an AI tranny? lmao
>>
>>109393259
I mean he couldn't code to begin with considering he made the community wait 3 years for lamps and gave up and sold it to microsoft
>>
That's great but i still have ni plans to use it
>>
>>109393220
>converting all my typescript into javascript
-.- is that not what the typescript compiler does? Am I too autistic to catch his sarcasm? Maybe he meant the other way around.
>>
>>109393276
Yes he's a retard
>>
When's the last time Notch has seriously coded for anything? I thought he was too busy shitposting on xwitter and living off the millions he got from selling out Minecraft.
>>
>>109393220
>Make fun of bun
>Everyone thinks you're serious because bun lowered the bar so much
>>
>>109393276
the typescript compiler does all kinds of insane transformations that only make sense to the interpreter, it's not just minified code
>>
That's great and i still have many plans to use it
>>
>>109393276
>Am I too autistic to catch his sarcasm?
yes, unfortunately
>>
>>109393325
I don't think that's actually true as long as it's not polyfilling to a different js target. Might elide unused references or something. Obviously it has to generate new code for enums and stuff, but you can even configure it to leave comments where they were. The optimizing compiler is the web browser.
>>
>>109393524
Are you talking about what >>109393306 said? Can you post the "bun" thing he's supposedly referencing? I checked xitter and he's committing to the bit pretty hard if so, which is respectable, if true.
>>
Everyone eventually caves and starts using AI because, at some point, pretending you can code better than it stops being pride and starts being denial.
The longer you wait, the more time everyone else spends shipping faster, learning quicker, and replacing the skills you thought made you special.
You can call it cheating, soulless, or “not real programming,” but nobody ahead of you is going to slow down so you can catch up.
Adapt now or spend the next decade explaining why your obsolete workflow is actually more authentic.
>>
>>109393220
I'm not anymore bothered as long as he is transparent about what parts are AI generated.

My outlook on AI hasn't changed but my reaction to it has, ever since I started writing Deceleration 30. Amazing how just writing and putting thought into something can give you new perspectives.

Luddites BTFO again. This month is really doing a number on them.
>>
>>109393276
Its obvious that he means in a way where the code is still readable (looks similar to the source)
>>
>oh my skibidi notch (hasn't done anything of value for 15 years) is le slopcoder now
Effeminate emotional manipulation tactics. Sad!
>>
>>109393265
notch did more games on his own than the entire /g/ and /v/ larpers together.
>>
We're all going through the same progression. The key jump is going from in-browser free/lite models, to actually downloading a local agent with the latest model on max, suddenly it does anything you want and you realize what the hype is.
>>
>>109394298
pretty much this. most people just havent tried the new models and seen their 1-shot potential. they are in denial
>>
>>109393220
>convert ts to js
Based
>>
Man, AI fags must be desperate to be posting twitter screencaps.
>>
>>109394994
If they don't get more people to start using AI, the entire thing will collapse.
>>
>>109394994
I'll know AI is actually useful when we stop getting shill threads begging people to use AI.
>>
>>109394269
notch just copied another game, he's a fraud

>You can call it cheating, soulless, or “not real programming,” but nobody ahead of you is going to slow down so you can catch up.
basically this, people around you won't take the high road, they won't hesitate a single second using a tool that'll make them 10x more productive if it means they can get your job
>>
>>109395224
>please, please, PLEASE use AI! We need it!
lol
>>
>>109395240
you won't get a choice, do you think your boss will listen to your arguments? all he's seeing is that there's coding monkey AI bots that can do your job 10x faster while working 24/7 and he won't pay even 10% of your salary, we're all fucked lol
>>
>>109395224
>AI is a tool!
No it's not.
It's a method of investor fraud.
That is the only use case AI has found thus far.
>>
>>109395257
Sorry, my industry already tried that then had to take me back at double my pay because AI was so shit.

There's a reason the rate of failure for businesses trying to use AI is like ten times that of similar businesses not trying to use AI.

>>109395259
the cope is high my dude, AI has managed to prove some math problems humanity couldn't figure out, and this is only getting started
>>
>>109395259
that's unfair and biased, it also accelerates skill decay
>>
>>109395272
you base your argument on the premise that AI won't improve further and that this is the best they'll ever get, it's not even close, it's getting better and better, soon enough AI will be great at coding while making clean and efficient code, this is genuinely over
>>
>>109395283
Man, AIfags are so desperate for a win they reach all this way.
Good luck with your investment fraud, tell me when you can actually make money with the things.
>>
>>109395292
No, I base my argument on how after unprecedented spending more than the world has ever seen, it has not improved enough to replace my retarded ass.

You need more money and energy than is in the entire universe to get what you want out of this, mr. shill.
You started on the wrong path. You need to try a different method of generating AI, this one is bloated and retarded.
Perhaps try intelligent design, instead of attempting to simulate billions of years of evolution.
>>
>>109395306
>it has not improved enough to replace my retarded ass.
yet, it's just a matter of time
>>
>>109395312
No, it seems like the universe will dissolve due to entropy before this strain of AIs will be able to replace me, given the rate at which you have promised this and failed to deliver.

you are looking at AI from a financial macro position, instead of individual user micro position. You should re-orient yourself. No one is arguing the industry isn't a giant scam, but the tech is not going to go anywhere even when the bubble inevitably bursts
>>
>>109395344
is the guy on the couch a manlet or are they all giants? kek
>>
>>109395344
I'm not buying into your scam no matter how much you push it. You'll have to find more rich idiots.
