How do I build my portfolio to apply to data science jobs?

It's it even possible to do data science without a Master or something? Do they still look for such people in quantity now that LLM can do 99,5% of the job better than most trained data scientists? If I'm not mistaken, DS where along the people who got steadily fired from everywhere during those last years.
>>109394218Do not. Data science means nothing, it's a meme field. It spans from crunching numbers on Excel to "training" ML models, which again could mean a lot of different things (a linear regression is way different than a NN). A lot of the job consists in cleaning data (which is the most boring and thus automated thing ever) and presenting it using histograms and powerpoint slides.
