>Surely the emotion driven share price that's moving radically on a whim dictates the product price.

They have sold their production for years forward, share price has fuckall effect on that.
Also the prices could fall 70% and stay down, and the shares would still be multiples of what they were before.
>>
>>109406435
>They have sold their production for years forward
And you believe them?
What incentive would they have to tell the truth in the situation?
>>
>>109406458

Yes I believe them, you don't?
The memory demand isn't exactly some obscure conspiracy that's not happening.
Everyone wants memory and data centers are being built in real life, regardless of how much some youtube e-celeb retard insists that it's all just happening on paper.
Even Valve admitted that they were basically forced to say yes to whatever terms the memory sales rep laid down, because they can now just walk to the next company and sell their hardware there.
The memory sellers don't have to negotiate shit the demand is so strong.
>>
These graphics cards are not that special. It's just a dumb accelerator that still needs CPU & RAM to tell it what to do.

>>
>>109406493
>Yes I believe them, you don't?
Why do you have any faith?
There is ZERO incentive to say anything else besides that they are sold out.
SK authorities aren't going to do shit if they somehow are lying.
They can set any price. They have literally all the power here. Yet things aren't perfect. There has to be a reason.
Do you honestly believe China is a threat? It's possible but it's not a near term thing.
I really just have zero reason to believe anything out of any of the memory companies at the moment.

What I do find funny about the memory situation is that nothing is out of stock. Memory kits didn't magically become scarce. The price just got higher. Nothing like actual shortages where you couldn't get anything period.
>>
I would absolutely buy a 5090 pro art if it were in stock anywhere right now with cold hard cash straight out of the bank. Asus should make one just for me and put it up just to see how serious I am.

5090Ds are China-only and aren't as numerous as 5090s, especially on an english benchmarking site. There's also the 5090D HOF which is the preferred model for extreme overclockers which will inflate the average score of the handful of 5090Ds that run this benchmark while 5090s are more common and get down to a more realistic average score

Bullshit, one of the reasons the lancool 207 is near the top for cooling is due to it's smaller size letting air circulate better to the components.

That would happen over years. There's loads of people who still want to buy and are waitfagging in hope of better prices. It's just basically pre-empting the out of stocks. Fabs are turning away from consumer products towards data center products, so there will be less stock in the future.

The COVID thing was very fast. We went from "something's happening in China" to "Europe's in lockdown" in like 60 days. And then everyone wanted to buy gaming PCs and had to have a machine for remote work/schooling. If we were given a year's worth of heads up for that, then you could have imagined the prices to have gone up before things went out of stock.

A heavy mouse will give you a low skill ceiling in fps games. The only way to compensate is to use a glass pad that eats skates.

>blackwell 6000

only use case is commercial applications that eat vram.

>9950x3d2
Meme cpu with no real practical use case. The hpc functions it boosts should be run on a system with ecc ram.

msi also has a 280hz model that is in stock but apparently everyone wants the 360hz.

I don't get how Asus thinks they can charge so much more for their monitors across the board. It's like they think they are apple.

i got the assus because I wanted a black bezel and didn't want to have to rely on DSC

The only time I hear about their brand is when they're screwing over customers by not honoring warranties or overcharging for lower quality parts compared to their competitors.

Fo you retards actually not understand that higher prices mean less people are buying and thus the stock is depleting more slowly on something non-essential? Because the shortage is in manufacturing slots and not yet in physical inventory like during covids logistics disruptions.
This is economics 101. Literally just price elasticity.

>everyone wants the 360hz

me, playing at 100fps with VRR on and happy

meanwhile morons buying 360hz monitors and thinking they're going to turn pro in counter strike 2 lmao
>>
>>109409169
you would want a 540hz oled for cs2 or a 600hz zowie
narrow 3-lane map design from 1999 doesn't benefit from 21:9 aspect ratio

>>109409192
you need a real job "cs 2 pro" is not a fucking career

COVID was a double whammy, since it affected both supply (factories are closed because of lockdowns) and demand (people are at home and need/want computers). Consumer RAM demand hasn't really exploded now, but the supply-side is being affected by manufacturing moving towards enterprise.

How long will a 9070 XT, 9800x3d, 32gb ddr5 build last me? I need to save money after this hubris.

click manual tuning, raise the power limit to max and turn off zero rpm fan mode because fans turning off and on constantly wears them out faster, after that you can try undervolting. if your PC ever crashes or turns off unexpectedly your overclock settings will reset even if it wasn't their fault because amds software is retarded

and yet they still seem to have a rather big market share. In regards to OLED plenty of recommendations here pointed to asus

until the AM5 chip explodes then

But are those educated recommendations, or just people shilling them because they themselves fell for marketing and don't know better?

>>109409530
Asus has a lot of people fanboying for them so probably the latter

I want to get out of the 8GB cuck cage before it becomes a problem but a 9060 isn't a big enough performance jump for the cost and a 9070 is an insane amount of money for how much I actually need it
>>
>>109409369
Depends on what you do with your pc, I recently built a new pc since the one I had from 2014 didn't cut it anymore for what I need it for. If you aren't interested in the latest comically bad AAA deislop a pc is useful for many years now. It's not like 1999 where it was outdated after a year.
>>
>>109409369
only 2 weeks sorry to say. you need to buy a 9950x3d2 and a blackwell 6000 like yesterday.
