WARNING: If you're about to comment "it already exists" or "it's built into the site", your mom is a cum dumpster

So why is it the best? because this converter has OkLab - a modern scientifically based color space that is better than rpb, meaning your photos are better converted to Pixel Art for better colors(for example all converters for dim green between green and gray will choose gray, but mine will choose green).

It also has the best type of dithering in the world - Dizzy Dithering, the thing is that you're all using a 50-year-old algorithm created for computers with a few megabytes of RAM, and the thing that i use is revolutionary. it only came out this year specifically for video games.

Try it yourself - it's completely free and hosted on github blackwolf365.github.io/wplace_best_converter

PS: don't forget to choose a palette for your favorite site. currently supported are Wplace and Bplace. Later will be added minecraft (for art maps) and others according to your wishes.

so you created an app that adds a shitty dither effect to images??
ok...

Might be useful for moving modernish 3d maps to older games that have noisy textures.

the original looks best.

Minecraft map making is significantly more complex. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4dEx8D1mjso

Looks cool, but where's the difference to the dithering algorithms?
The middle pic seems more like a posterize filter, while the bottom one looks like a dithering filter to me.

gimp can do customizable dithering
