By not releasing Seedance open weights they're taking a massive risk now that Flux.3 is as good as it is. Their model is shit and prohibitively expensive, while Flux.3 will have cheaper API providers, plus Flux.3 will see development fast when it comes out.

obviously, Minimax H3 is meant to be run locally, Seedance is probably some giant 70b model

bro, with seedance you can make hollywood tier movies, it's way less expensive than your regular hollywood slop that costs hundreds of millions of dollars

>>
>>109420709
ok what's your point? the post said API is still ahead. Flux 3 is API.
you don't seriously think the local scraps you cattle are getting will be any better than H3, do you?

Nah, Flux.3 dev is what we're seeing now. They're still improving the weights. Trust the plan. Also note what it says on Flux.3 page
>Open-weight access to a multimodal backbone, for content creation (video, audio and image) and action prediction

Nowhere does it say we're getting distilled weights.

of course, that's basic economics, when you're in a position of Monopoly, you can set whatever price that you want, people can't do anything about it since there's no viable alternative
>>
>>109420743
They could give us a smaller but non-distilled model that's on par with their current showing, while their API gets refined "HD" version of that.
>>
>>109420743

dev has always been guidance distilled, flux 1 dev was like that, flux 2 dev was like that as well

damn almost. But its amazing that krea can mix all these styles.
>>
>>109420731
freetardybrowns are poorfags, they spent their entire savings on a 3060 which is why comfy had to damage control by saying H3 (((fits))) on a 3060. the idea of spending $1000 to make an entire movie insults them, because they never fathomed the idea of movies costing millions of dollars before in the first place. AI is the first introduction of creative tools to the third world, so localpoors have zero comprehension of the actual cost of things
>>
>>109420775
people who want to do professional movies will do it, I don't think you realize how big of a deal it is to give Hollywood tier power to everyone
>>

its for movie / commercial production which normally costs millions, this is massively cheaper. This is not for bob

This. Udio has been SOTA at music for a while, but what's the point if it's all locked up in a cloud? Musicians aren't going to leak their commercial secrets to it, so local models like ACEStep and anything that's upcoming are a million times more relevant.

ACEStep has gotten really good now, most of its prowess owed to the fact it's a 4B model and no one else (E.G. Stability) will give us a music model that's is as robust and huge like that. Also AFAIK the Suno arch leaked and it's not a far-cry from ACEStep.

LTX-2.3 is picky about what subjects and views it wants to animate. Generally the more realistic it looks the better it does. Also, it doesn't "like" rear views, and will do stupid shit like get boobs wrong if the subject doesn't start with them visible. But it'll do 30s at 24fps with no extra fuckery, so it's got that going for it.

They sound as real to the recordings as you can get even though I haven't touched any mastering tools, and the Fate Gear even better than some of the files it was trained on (though tbf their mastering process isn't the best or the audio quality I ripped just isn't as good). It sounds like a slightly lower quality (pre-mastered) real recording, that's what matters the most. If I gen on Udio I get similar gen quality, but it's cloudshit and locked behind an API. Suno has always sounded synthetic, nothing special.

the actual answer? lack of krea.2 medium weights. krea 2 turbo was not directly derived from krea 2 base, it was derived from medium which was significant training continuation over base. they withheld medium to prevent proper finetuning. kekstone's project will require a ton more compute and data now because the actual base model for krea 2 is quite terrible in comparison to turbo.

I genned on ACEStep Base/Turbo 0.3 merge btw https://huggingface.co/Astral01/Ace-Step_v1.5_XL_Base_Turbo_0.3_Merge/tree/main

The model they gave us out of the box isn't as rich in sound quality, and SFT wouldn't be as creative or generalize as well.

>>109421059
Interesting, has sound quality issues but it's getting there. Seems ACEStep 1.0 quality at current state. If they improve its sound quality perhaps it wouldn't be bad for instrumentals. I'd still stick to ACEStep with a LoRA though, but if they improve this it could be as good as Udio if it follows lyrics well and we get extension of song time (similar to Udio extend feature), at least for anime music. I hope they plan on iterating on it and eventually give us a larger model with more genres.
>>
https://youtu.be/AKGNGrD4Bxk?t=321
people are overestimating that model, yeah it's pretty good and it'll blow Wan and LTX out of the fucking water, but there's a lot of fuziness on high paced action, I guess this is the best they can do so that it can be run locally

Perhaps you can enlighten me, but only the second song sounds close to the power metal songs I linked, and in fact the vocals are more crisp anyways on the songs that I linked. Power metal sounds even worse than Udio. Local (with a LoRA) won, I trained on single artists but I could find a group of them for each genre I like so it generalizes better, then just train at massive rank and suddenly I have a model that generalizes just as good as Suno or Udio while being local, high quality and unchained.

Nah the instruments are drowned out and the voice sounds synthetic. That is the most offensive example in sound quality, you're listening on tin cans. Besides, the samples I linked as very similar to the actual Power Metal that the real band plays, what you're saying is synthetic Suno crap is better than a real artist.

Depending on a bunch of fiddly dependencies is all the more reason to have it neatly packaged as a flatpak. I found a bunch for LLMs but nothing for image generation.

On your end yes. On the side that hosts multiple gigabyte flatpaks that get downloaded multiple times a week probably not so much.

And then of course there are the models that will also be needed.

Podman/docker is better for this but again the actual most usual way is just to contain the python libs with conda/pip/uv pip.

I won't stop you from packaging your own flatpaks of course but I don't really think anyone will provide them.

100%
>>
>>109421932
You don't need flatpaks for llms. You need to use llama.cpp and get gguf files.
For frontend you can use llama.cpp's own until you are sure what to do (vibe your own or use something else).

Image generation is more complicated.

It seems to be the best in most cases. When the model gets in iffy areas, its output begins to detoriate.
With 1girls and such it's not that noticeable.

For 0.1 of a deslop attempt it's pretty good even if not perfect, and it's got Krea's strong prompt adherence. Basically with this model there's no need for rebelanace node or any other cope LoRA anymore, it's a true decensor of Krea.

It's just a joke. I still create the prompt and read the image like a list - purple hair, black rimmed glasses, red onesie bikini, gen garden background...
She just bolsters it up. Sometimes it's not that great and using your own prompt is much better.
It's a writing exercise.
>>
>>109422256
Telling her what I want with the instructions on how to write a good prompt in the context gets her 80% of the way there.

When I just want to goon the outputs are usually more than good enough. The big appeal is I can just shut off my brain and let her take the wheels.

Yh, not fully deslopped yet but it's getting there. Better than nothing at least, one could try 2-passing the generation but Turbo model by itself is too noisy to do well at 2 pass workflows.

Most of the data these models have are from instagram and from portrait imagery.

you are actually retarded if you dont think they did what ideogram does first in order to have their location accurate gens. Also, try it yourself. Use a prompt containing json with bbox coordinates containing a prompt for each section. Works perfectly.... almost as if it was trained of it, wow

That's extremely inaccurate in terms of fat.

Obivously, that's not the point. The point is to createin accurate junk for updoots.
