They should just make their own at this point.

Well he has a stupid beard so he must be correct. Tim Apple obviously isn't gay enough. Fire Tim Apple and hire this man.

Apple says that making you pay way too much for ram is bad... except when Apple does it to its customers, of course.
>>
>>109422703
Hey, bro... make your own memory modules from now on, okay?

Microsoft:
>exists hardware game entirely
>stops caring about consumer software
>just coasts by on university, government and corporate contract
>memory price spike
+$450 billion value in one day

Apple:
>focuses on the consumer
>can't figure out AI
>wants to control both hardware and software for all devices
>memory price spike
>-$450 billion in value in one day

They are gonna offset the increased memory costs onto the consumer, who cares

i think it would be funny if the ai bubble burst and prices dropped it would be like when ford stockpiled rubber

Or we could just all sue the Ram cartel companies.
>>

Apple must be shitting their pants knowing RAM will triple in price every year. They won't be able to sell phones to anyone except the 1%ers who come on this board proclaiming their love for the cartel charging an arm and a leg.
>>
Well, I guess I'm going to have to start eating healthy and doing exercise so that I can survive to the year 2100 and finally get to buy more RAM at prices that aren't complete dogshit.
>>
i think imma buy 16 plus in teal and use for how long enough memory prices cool down

Timmy is retiring at just the right time to make the new guy take the fall. The money printing environment we've been in created a unique opportunity for corporate market cap growth that likely will not be seen again for at least a century. Cook will go down in history as a business genius while the next guy will be seen as the second coming of Sculley.
>>
>>109424065
it was shortsighted of apple to not control important parts of their products. if ram was key to a good product, producing ram should have been important to apple. with half a trillion in cash or whatever they have, they could have argued that producing ram was important to the companies and shareholders would have accepted apple spending to make their own ram.

Wrong!

Honestly those prices now are actually apple selling at a loss. Their pre-november pricing now looks too low.

it’s the perfect example. what’s wrong with it?
>>

Microsoft cloud business is dependent on hardware and is directly impacted by memory price fluctuation
>>
I wonder how long people are going to keep on fighting this reality.
The industry has been openly telling everyone for at least 6 months that the situation is fucked and will remain like this likely for years to come.
Waitfagging for some kind of a crash at this point is insane.
Start hoarding computing and storage, it's the best course of action.

I'm not financing these cunts, I'll just stick with what I have already.
>>
>>109429814
Yup it's a huge scam
>>
>>109429814

Yeah no shit they're colluding to make sure no one starts investing in more production. They've done this during every single crisis in the past.
However the demand is real and you won't see the prices suddenly collapse for whatever reason and no chinks aren't going to be able to crank out this stuff in any meaningful amounts for years to come.
The price normalization is another subject. That's going to take ages after the peak is reached.
Regardless of how much of this is artificial, we won't see prices coming down in any hurry. We haven't even reached the peak yet.

Innocent until proven guilty.
