Is there any reason to not pay for Deepseek tokens over Claude or Chat gpt?

Deepseek is like 10 cents per million tokens.
>>
>>109428369
it's provably more retarded, terrible instruction following, basically just does whatever it wants because it's literally just distilled gpt/claude
>>
>>109428369
wtf why is he doing that
>>
>>109428369
as private person i use chatgpt subscription.
and for api i only use deepseek mostly flash.
i once used kimi 3 for api and it sucked 50$ in half an hour.

the high price api service are imho for companies because they still cheap when you compare them to a hired person.
>>
>>109428369
Why do people buy for AI tiers if you can run llms from your computer?
>>
>>109428386
because he is a piece of shit
>>
>>109428369
>10 cents per million tokens
thats still a bad deal, and a terrible deal for the quality of that model
>>
Are you just asking for every marketing jeet to post in your thread

The fuck you think meat comes from? This is best way for any farm animal to go out lol.

it is symbolic; you are that goat btw

One of us!

This thread glows

Don't want to get a subsidized subscription so the chinese models via api are the only way I use LLMs.

Saaar there is no marketing on the /g/ okay? Do the needful and use DurgaGPT coded by real time expert Mr Durgasoft himself.

amazing, I just gave it a VPS to play around in
>>
>>109428509
Because depending on what you are trying to do, it's the difference between a lawn mower and a ferrari.
>>
>>109430577
Report back with results.
>inb4 we'll see it on the news
>>
>>109428369
Deepseek is fine for day to day stuff but you'll see the difference if you throw complex shit at it compared to Opus or Sol. It's easy to get API access to all AI models for free anyway.

Yeah I don't think so

goyim...

>ask about GOAT
Deepseek is the GOAT, its basically free. You can also try opencode go plan if you want stable sub prices. I find the official DS api is just way cheaper than the $10/mo opencode sub for my usage.
>>
>>109430662
>easy to get API access to all AI models for free anyway
do tell
>>
>>109430882
I rotate 3 opencode go subs which gets me through heavy coding.

Supposedly it's about 60 bucks of tokens per sub

>>
>>109430620
this just means you dont know how to write code yourself
>>
>>109430620
When your goal is cutting the grass, a lawn mower will serve you much better than a Ferrari. It may not be as sleek or move as fast, but it gets work done instead of just looking cool.
>>
>>109428509
even if you ignore the model quality, it still ends up cheaper to pay 100$ a month, than to buy 20k$ worth of GPUs to run anything useful
>>
>>109430662
what type of complex stuff are we talking about? Can it assist with coding reliably?
>>
>>109429311
It's not.
Kvetching jew spotted.
>>
>>109435404
You run v4 for much less than 10K
Which would pay back for itself pretty quickly.
>>
>>109428369
It’s unamerican
>>
>>109432126
There are plenty of idiots constantly leaking their credentials, or having their AI leak them lol. Also some groups host reverse proxies, though usually need to buddy up with someone for that now. Used to be easier to find those run publicly but there are a few around still. Can also trial scum but I'm not sure the meta for that anymore. Used to be able to get $300 in Vertex credits on sign up then just make new accounts, dunno if it still works.
>>109435471
General coding yeah but the more complex your codebase is the more frequently it's gonna fuck up or just get lost.

can't use it at work.

it would be unpatriotic.

because it's a very humane way to slaughter for the simple reason that it involves zero stress for livestock to be slaughtered on the pasture but out of sight of the herd. We do that here and I condemn the practice of crowding livestock into a trailer to cart them around for hours or days before being killed in an industrial slauggterhouse. The actual method of killing there is very similar in it's immediacy. But the entire ordeal and circumstances are very stressfull for the animals and at some point they become aware of what is going to happen.
