what cool uses cases do you have for AI?
>>
>>109428902
This is dystopian
>>
>>109428925
that's an overreaction

>>109428902
podcast is retarded but if you call it a news segment like a list of reminders plus other shit then it's fine
>>
>>109428902
can we have a thread on /g/ that is not a shitter screencap?
why even come to 4chan if all you want to talk about is shitter?
>>
>>109428936
Yeah you're right. Giving an AI detailed information about your children is safe and good
>>
>>109428902
What a waste of everything. Fuck you.
I have twittcap fatigue.
>>
>>109428946
so run it on your phone with a local model
how much effort does it take to generate some dumbass text about your dumbass kids and make a dumbass voice?
>>
>>109428979
Why are you getting so upset
>>
I have no clue how an LLM can do this considering its training data, but you connect it through Blender MCP and let it create 3D models.
>>
>>109428936
>>109428946
>>109428979
what if you just talked to your children?
>>
>>109429001
I'm mad because my girlfriend blows up at me if I don't word things perfectly

but forreal though this is an 8B model use-case you could totally just do it on your phone.
>>
the only real uses I found for AI is to generate subtitles (speech to text) and OCR text that tesseract can't do (image to text).
tried to use LLM to detect clickbait titles on youtube, but it had many false positives making it worthless.
>>
>>109428902
making AI
>>
>>109429021
Yeah and the manufacturer of twinkies could tell people to eat an apple
>>
>>109428946
For Sam Altman GPT is basically his locally selfhosted AI
>>
>>109429050
Explain why you think people tweet please
>>
>>109429050
Did you even read the tweet
>>
>>109429026
you applied a vagueness score or matched the wording of the title against the actual transcript of the video?
there's a real use-case for detecting videos that bury the lead and how far in
>>
>>109428946
Yeah, your children are so unique and special you don't want to divulge their nuclear research to AI.
>>
>>109428939
>reddit youtube tiktok screenshots good
>twitter screenshots bad
>>
>>109429073
We get it, you dont have kids
>>
>>109429081
>things nobody said for 500 alex
>>
>>109429070
no, I prompted an LLM with examples of clickbait titles and non-clickbait titles and asked to mark titles on the homepage as such.
it would probably be more accurate if given the entire transcript, but that is slow and I can tell clickbait just from the title myself.

Arre bhai, people still think AI is just fancy autocomplete? Bilkul galat. That's 2019 thinking. In software development, AI isn't replacing engineers—it's turning them into coding yodhas. Boilerplate? Ho gaya. Debugging that cursed legacy code written before the Mahabharata? AI helps you trace the issue before your chai gets cold. Unit tests, documentation, SQL queries, API scaffolding, regex wizardry—sab kuch on demand while the comment section is still arguing tabs vs spaces.

But the real prasad isn't the code AI writes—it's the time it gives back. Smart devs don't worship AI like it's some digital bhagwan; they treat it like a trusted saarathi. Generate prototypes in a few hours, untangle legacy spaghetti that would make even Vishwakarma sigh, review massive pull requests without losing your dharma, explain cryptic code left behind by that one senior who disappeared after "switching companies," and automate all the repetitive karma that drains your day. Then you focus on architecture, product thinking, and solving the problems that actually need a human mastishk.

Jai coding, but let's be real, mitron—the "AI will replace every developer" crowd is still coping while teams using AI are shipping features at full speed. AI hallucinates, misses edge cases, and occasionally invents APIs that exist only in Kalyug, so you still need an engineer with vivek to keep things on track. Git commits rising, production bugs crying. Chalo bhai, enough gyaan—time to fire up the IDE, invoke a little Saraswati Mata's blessing, and ship some code before the next stand-up. Har Har Mahadev, deploy kar do!
>>
>>109429103
yeah but if you're going to the effort it'd be nice to automatically filter them or apply the youtube "not interested in this video" function
>>
>>109429007
>Have you ever tried just turning off the TV, sitting down with your children, and hitting them?
>>
>>109429090
Alex is dead
>>
>>109429119
I already have a blacklist script, it works well. it's just that LLM doesn't really help there over regexp matches of "won't believe" and such.

>condition your kids to give everything to AI companies
Not a me-problem since I'll never have kids, but man that's some grooming-like behavior. 20 years from now Timmy will be building OpenAI blankets fortress like manchildren these days scream like a child when they get their new Nintendo console.

Can I connect ChatGPT to my family calendar and have it tell me if my wife spends a suspicious amount of time with her yoga instructor? I'm a busy person.
>>
>>109428902
I have to make threads in Monday for projects. Monday doesn't let you upload a spreadsheet. I told claude to take my spreadsheet and do it for me. It did. I have also had claude editing my blender files for animations for me. It does it scary well. The only thing is. When this 5x usage is gone I wonder how useful it will be
>>
>>109429060
>>109429069
He's both selling GPT to investors and wanting you to follow what he tweeted so OpenAI receives even more personal information. I was just pointing out that he personally doesn't have the privacy problem
>>
>>109429135
oh lmao
my algorithm doesn't have stuff like that by default
I think it's because I spent a few hours just blocking everyone that upload videos with arrows and onions faces
>>
>>109429006
>>109429158
I tried hooking up Blender to Claude Opus 5 and the results are ludicrous for what's essentially a fucking text model.
>>
So I've used image and video generation for visualizing ideas for the film projects I'm currently working on; stuff like character portraits and location shots. I'm a heavily visual thinker so it's given me some good visual references my brain can retain for when I'm writing.

However, I probably wouldn't want to have generative AI anywhere near the actual final product though, I'd rather that be human-made.
>>
>>109429168
I'm glad we agree your previous response was a non sequitur.

OpenAI - the narcissism app!
>>
>>109429233
calling it a podcast implies they're blathering on and on about what's gonna happen at your kid's soccer game when it doesn't know jack shit about you or your kid
calling it a news segment means they're gonna tell you to go to the damn soccer game

the future is comfy, fuck the snails
>>
>>109428902
Fuck that I actually refuse to engage with my children whatsoever. It really should be other people who handle this for me.

But then not to mention, someone like Sam Altman or really any one of these tech bro companies absolutely have every right to have a complete profile of anyone's children. Imagine what info you can learn from specific human behavior patterns at young ages! Think about all the money they can make off this! I bet that small little customized podcast your children will be listening will certainly never have any form of advertisement involved with it.
>>
this is really lame. just talk to your kids.
>>
>>109428979
You know there is another option. You don't have to do this. Actually it would probably be better socially for your children to go around and make friends with one another in order to figure out what everyone is doing. Instead of skipping this crucial social learning step young humans sort of require.
>>
>>109429484

It fixed an entire animation for me, baked and rendered it. But to be fair its far from text. Its a moe, it has vision and more. It takes screen shots to show me what its changed and fixed.
>>
>>109428902
I translate ancient texts that were just published or never before translated to English, for example.
