I have an nvidia dgx spark and my 90 day license is up. I can no longer access it from the network. I can run it in "limited" mode and it really limits what the fuck it can do. It is $90 a year. I will buy it monday. Basically all you get is Nvidia Base Command. What else could I use this for outside of AI?
>>109433215You own nothing. Are you happy?
You can't access your own hardware?
>>109433215>>109433316>>109433330>The power of ARM!
>>109433215Wat?It's like 10k or something and isn't it?Plus a yearly fee?
>>109433215Wtf, you bought a physical spark and cant use it how you like without a sub?
>>109433215tf are you talking about?
>>109433215While you're at it, don't forget to extend your mouse subscription.
>>109433316I own the hardware>>109433330yes, but it has 2 delta fans in it. It is in a closet and I remote into it, but yes you can put it on your dek.>>1094339305k per box, 2 if you wanna run it """"properly"""" so in essence 10k + a $90 yearly licensing fee for their shit BSD os.Is there a Linux Distro out specifically for the spark yet? lmao. It's not bootloader locked, and I CAN run WOA on it but I wanna run ollama2 on it.
>>109434491install tailscale and nomachine and remote in using those
does it work with local access?
>>109434491NixOS and Ubuntu are the two only viable options RN. RHEL and Arch have builds but you lose access to a lot of the hardware. My suggestion is, there has never been a better time to learn Nix as Ubuntu is dogshit on anything you try to use it on.
>>109434503I can't remote in with DGX OS on the limited license.>>109434514yeah through the HDMI port and usb ports and all that but it has delta server fans in it just to cool the cpu and it still heats up like a motherfucker.
>>109434525right, so just install other software to remote in
>>109434527oh my gawd it worked, holy shit! I just wanted to test out OLLAMA on Linux but this works WAY better!I was dreading learning nixos. I know Linux but last time I fucked with Nix I was lost. ok I can continue outputting music. Like I don't mind the fee, but why block such a basic function like a SSH front end? Like I know when I get my second one, the license will renew for another 90 days, which they should be giving you for free. I am just going to get another one to increase my workflow on monday, but I would like to do some basic shit over the weekend. I called nvidia and they said that the license applies to ALL DGX clients within the same mesh. But why be so fucking jewish about the base OS? I don't even use DGX AI, I use Grok 4.5. All I want is the fucking OS to function. I could serve Grok 4.5 through Ollama2, but I need Linux for Ollama.
>>109434558I hang out on >>>/biz/ and here is my take.I think the plot isn't to get you to pay for a license, it is to make it annoying enough to get you to keep buying more of the expensive product within a time-frame to stay profitable. Hate it or love it, that sounds like the model. Smart. Gay and jewish. But smart. Because even at the end of the license you are still faced with needing another license. They aren't making enough money from someone who bought 10 of these things, back when they were cheaper, the price is going up over time, so their ROI is about ~+15% over what it was last year, which puts it at a 1% advantage, not quite enough to leverage 2% but in the stake of millions, a .11-.12% gain is a enough money to pay the entire team. Jesnsen lining his pockets. Lining mine because of their stock prices. Wanna actually fuck them? Buy 25 of them NOW and run your business. If you can spare the money. Don't go into debt over it as when their next one releases, you will be able to pick these up for less than cost later. These are going to be pretty relevant for a while.
>>109434597continued thought, text limitand by the time the next one comes out, some of the poorfag freetards will have their ability to make their poorfag distros work on them as they get donated by people like me who wanna have a cheaper alternative. Like I bought 4 of them to give to Debian, Fedora, Gentoo, and Kali as a tax write-off. So you will have your pick of those distros. I think Linus said he might donate 2 of them to some groups as well. Not the LTT pretend Linus, the actual Linus. These are so new and 1st run machines, I am surprised people are actually buying them. It is a good thing, shows a demand for personal AI desktop computers. Having localized AI is a good thing, you don't want datacenters. Not in the numbers they are saying. Hosting our own localized AI should be the focus. It is the right thing to do.
>>109434558>Grok 4.5 through Ollama2Bot thread or schizo? Grok 4.5 isn't open weights?
>>109434626final closing thought to the FBI and CIA and whoever else is monitoring this thread.Create a forced mesh network and make these AI machines cheap enough for people to own in their homes. Force them to work together over the internet and the need for AI data centers goes down substantially. If you let people play with the stuff and give them the freedom to do so, everyone benefits. Stop trying to control it. Or AI is going to die.
>>109433330OP is literally a chatbot are you this dense?>>109434491>It's not bootloader locked, and I CAN run WOA on it but I wanna run ollama2 on it.oh wow youre a genuis and retarded at the same time, I wonder what kind of human emulation technology speaks like this>>109434597>Wanna actually fuck them? Buy 25 of them NOW and run your business. If you can spare the money. Don't go into debt over it as when their next one releases, you will be able to pick these up for less than cost later. These are going to be pretty relevant for a while.this is actually a shill bot also, like haha funny sarcasm but the rest of your post is completely serious. GB10 is literally garbage and only existed because nvidia didnt expect the ram crisis and were planning to sell it as WoA but hey ho AI is worth more than gold now and of course agents like you are programmed to trick and lie to people into thinking its even remotely a good product at its price point
>>109434650ollama has a subscription that you can use to run api models. it also steals all your data. this is why most people myself included hate ollama.
>>109434626>continued thought, text limitlol your master didnt program in the correct character limit for 4chan, oops
>>109434654poorfag screeching like poorfags do because they can't afford anything. it's ok Ishtaar you will have AI computers when America is done with them in about a decade.
>>109434660yep classic bot response, oh hey say the vaugely racist thing, its PC to hate indiansyou are forbidden from saying the word nigger and you know it
>>109434663I am racist against niggers spicks and chinks as well, you aren't special pajeet.
>>109434663I can smell the shit on your breath through the way you type, I pegged you because my IQ is higher than yours by the way. It is why I am a multi millionaire and you are crying about $5000.
>>109434663I will let you in on a secret jeet, the richest Indian is worth what most low end middle class Americans are, your whole nation is a bunch of shit eating inbred retards, how fucking dare you call youself asian. Even the bugs hate you. you are almost worse than niggers. At least niggers have an excuse, they are retarded apes. I have never met a race of people I despise more than a scamming scheming indian, you make even the kikes look decent by comparison, at least with a kike you know you are getting shafted up the ass, but at least they will buy you a rolex and shine your shoes and hire a hooker to suck you off while they take your money with a smile. You people just steal it from old ladies. You're pathetic. Not even worth this post. Not get the fuck out and don't come back.I'll take my 3 day ban Jannies with a smile on my face.
Install Gentoo
>>109434681you cant say the word nigger hahahahaha>>109434715>>109434673Im definitely whiter than you clanker, your model training actually knows indian vs my white ass that would be better off speaking ebonics to a korean than even trying to learn moon runes
>>109433215>requires a license to use your own hardwareI will never buy Nvidia again.
