It lets you see profiles of people within bluetooth distance, see if you have shared interests, and then you can hang out.

Any thoughts, suggestions? Would you use it or is it shit? Honestly it doesn't have any benefit until there are actual users in your area but a subway add costs like $10K so I might just buy a sandwich board and stand outside subway stations to advertise it.

If this counts as advertising please just warn me and not ban, mods. It's my first time posting since I asked /g/ a while back if they would be interested in such an app and people received the idea relatively warmly.

I think it's neat ,but you should get some non-4chan friends to talk about it with. Something like this will spread organically if there's interest

I guess you're right. I was thinking of doing a sandwich board advertising thing when it gets less hot in the autumn.

Why would you create that? Stuff like this has been around for ages. And no, you're not going to find anyone using BT because the range is too shit

>>109436110
if you learned how annoying bluetooth is then its good. I wouldnt use it telegram has a search local function I think most messengers do. Its probably going to be abused for things you wouldnt want most people will just write nigger or penis.

>>109436110
We already have an app that does all that. It's called grindr.

you're like 15 years too late, back then you'd have probably gotten some VC money to get some ads and users

Just get a A4, tape it to yourself and write "Always down to talk games over boba" on that

ITS SHIT
shared interests is the worst meme nerds have come up with so far and the main reason why they can't make friends
1. you can already use discord and every single forum on the internet for that
2. if you care so much about that interest, go read a book about it
interests are, ultimately, and individual activity, even if done with a group

I have zero interest in hanging around with other guys, again, I can already install discord and do just that without ever leaving my desktop. MAKE AN APP WHERE I CAN MEET WOMAN THAT WANT TO FUCK UGLY MEN LIKE ME, until then, I DO NOT CARE

if you ai is so good, why can't it do that
