If we ignore just outright bad business ideas yeah in my experience pretty much. The ones that don't fail because their business idea is the equivalent to setting off fireworks in a public park and then charging people in the area that saw it often fail because they have no one that knows how to sell their product to the right customers.
One of the best examples are medical and lab equipment software support, there are huge niches that in theory are wide open to anyone, in practice unless you have someone that gets you an in into those industries (not the manufacturer side the business customer side) you'd get fucking nowhere.

A local TTS app that has every system on it, that also saves character datasets in a way it can auto setup a voice on every system at once. Some engines are better than others for certain voices or project styles, but its hard for me to keep track of which engine is the best for X or Y voice.

My issue was that Ive been collecting voice datasets since 11labs came out, but testing each one on new systems as they come out is a huge time sink.
That plus I hate almost all AI audio/speech that I hear in AI videos and commercials.
With this, you make a good base audio file for a character, pic sub variants of that file like the best 10sec, 30sec, 60sec, and then it auto sets up the voice for each system, generates variants to preview, and then you can save the engine you want as that characters default, and share the best presets.
I figure with how many datasets I have, I can make a cast with enough variety that also work really well and dont sound like shit, I can market it that way.
Plus, you can put in an anime, itl clean audio and split datasets by character, link them to their original voice actor, and saves manually doing 95% of the work.
I dont know if this is just overkill bespoke software for me, or whether other people would like it.
