Are we living in Soviet Russia?
>>
>>109440438
No, they had bread but had to wait a few hours
>>
>>109440466
Boy am I glad AIs don't run on necessary resources like bread or something similar...

It's liberal capitalism.

Only works if everything else works flawlessly and you have atleast 1 country you can suck dry and cuck into oblivion.
Otherwise, everything goes to shit.
>>
>>109440438
No, soviet russia had fixed prices and planned rationing for non-essential goods.
Imagine paying $200 for 8TB SSD but you have to win a lottery for a chance to purchase one 6 months in advance. Or know people who know people.

looks like a skill issue
>>

Now don't crop the prices out of your screenshot lol
>>
>>109441241
Outside Arizona they don't use water at all and even there they're a tiny amount of the water consumption.

Stop being retarded. There are legitimate arguments to have but this is just annoying.

I don't think people have realized yet but even industrial equipment is getting hard to manufacture. I work for a company that makes manufacturing equipment and 100% of hardware engineering and a significant amount of software engineering time now goes into hacking around getting rugpulled by chip (primarily RAM and higher end stuff) suppliers.

The entire electronics industry is literally collapsing. It's so strange.

The water use is negligible and it all stems from some retarded calculation some reporter made when they used GPT-4 energy costs from 2023. Datacenters use more electricity, and even that only affects local areas. The real problem with AI datacenters is that AI is used 99,9% of the time to just generate slop on the internet or run some corporate AI agent that was meant to make someone unemployed. If it actually generated cures for diseases and made economy more efficient then people wouldn’t be against it.

They must feel so stupid now that those drives are 3x more valuable

Datacenter jannie
>>
>>109440438
>Nooo, they took my hard drives, such an important product that I can't live without! Where will I store all my loli porn now!
>>
>>109445332
Datacenters get billions of dollars from the FAGMAN and taxpayers, it's they who should feel stupid for choosing to pay in this racket.
>>
Another retarded political thread made by yet another /g/eet
