Firefox peaked here.
Tabs on top of the url bar makes zero fucking sensethey should be closer to the middle than the url bar because they are used more ofte
>>109449248tabs are visually supposed to look like tabs in a notebook, so they're on the top and contain everything else, including the URL bar which shows the URL of the current page opened in the tab
We've had browsers for 35 years now, yet we keep repainting the bikeshed in designs by cyclically changing the roundness of buttons of and tabs. The only browser that's had a truly static interface is Seamonkey, and they let their rendering engine die so you are forced to use "fashion browsers" now.

>>109449248You're a fucking retard.Tabs on the top are absolutely fine. What wasn't fine was that fucking orange Firefox button stealing vertical space. With tabs on the top I can just throw the mouse upward to the screen limit and aim left-right for the tab I want. I don't have to fucking aim it vertically too. That might sound strange to a retard like you, but it makes switching tabs more automatic, fast, no-thought.

4.0 was the peak for me. I ran the nightly version for months because it was so good.
>>109449219Firefox 2.0 was peak, 3.0 sucked. When 3.0 came out I switched to Opera.
Surely a coincidence.
